For a very good guide for curing yeast infection once and for all... This is an excellent remedy. Click Here To Check It Out.

i just started my period and i want to know cause i use pads and i heard that they are more of a risk to get yeast infections
i am NOT sexually active

signs of a yeast infection:—

~itchy
~weird colored discharge
~fishy/bad smell
~also some say there is some buring invloved

those are the most common signs.
i think pads are fine and if you wash everyday and take care of yourself you’ll be fine:-)

I am breast feeding my 5 week old daughter. She was recently diagnosed with thrush and I got it on my breast as well. Shortly after we found this out she got a bump on her face. It got bigger and developed a yellowish head to it. It has now spread from her cheek all the way to her ear and her other cheek. My question is could the yeast infection spread to the skin on her face? Thanks in advance.

I’ve never heard of that, but I would definitely go see the pediatrician.

So, really long story short, my ex though I gave him an std, and all my tests came back negative and he’s yet to get his back. Looking it up on the internet, it kinda looks like I may have given him a yeast infection. I know treatment for women includes probiotics, but if it’s contracted second-hand, then could antibiotics have cured it for him? (His ex was a HUGE whore, so it may have been an std that I didn’t get, but still)

go for these home remedies.. though it is meant for women but it will work on men too.. All the best..

yes.a few years ago a pharmacist at wal mart introduced me to a vitamin called<acidophilus>.take one aday for aweek.yeast infection be gone.i promise you will love it!!!

Last week I was sick, and have since then been taking Augmenton. Also, I’m on Yaz (which I’m taking the last pill of my first month of it today- so my hormonal levels have been Really fucked up), have been very stressed out recently, have been getting little to no sleep, I’m not hungry very often so I’m sure my eating habits are really bad, I’m on my period right now so I’m craving sugar like crazy… And I’ve been researching yeast infection problems all morning. It sounds like everything I listed above is a potential cause of a yeast infection. Also, my partner and I are very sexually active, and sex didn’t hurt before I got sick last week. Now the sex is painful and I don’t know how to go about getting everything back to normal :(
So I’m wondering if I really could have a yeast infection or if all of these factors are just adding up and just screwing around with the chemical balances for my immune system or whatever…. I’m at a complete loss.

Please help :[

You could go to the pharmacy like Walgreens and pick up a kit that tests for yeast infections.

For some time now I have had clear discharge, but with a really bad smell, a rash near my vagina and ive recently been needing the toilet a lot more than ‘normal’….Plus I feel pretty itchy down there & inside.

Yeast infection is dangerous if not treated properly.Better to consult a doctor.Natural methods are there to cure yeast infection.

This may sound crazy ( I think so) but my mother’s dog groomer told her that her dog has a skin yeast infection and suggested she buy an atheletes foot spray and put it on her dog? Has anyone on here ever heard of such a thing before? Her dog is a cockapoo mix and has been scratching a lot so she is trying anything she can to help the dog. I myself told her not to do every thing everyone tells her. Do you think this could harm the dog? By the way, the dog doesn’t have fleas.
Goldega… She has taken the dog to the vet, got an allergy shot, then special shampoo, the changed the dog food to Natural Balance. My mother is elderly so the scratching is getting on her nerves plus she is at her witts end trying to help the poor dog. Thank you too everyone for any help.

I have heard of this before. But it is usually caused by the area staying wet all the time. If your dog has been scratching constantly, then she may be allergic to fleas. Fleas will only stay on an animal long enough to feed, then they’ll jump off. So that dog may have been bitten by a flea and caused it to scratch until it’s raw. Now, it’s also very possible that the dog could have developed a secondary skin infection, from all the intense scratching. If this is true, then the dog will need antibiotics. The best thing to do is to bring it to a vet, and then it can be determined exactly what’s going on. If the dog continues to scratch, that area will only intensify in its inflammation and won’t heal by itself. Think about this. Best of luck to you.

for about 2 weeks i’ve been getting these 2 spots on the shaft that are very red like. 1 time they bled. about 2 days ago i saw that the spots have spread to almost half my foreskin (im UC). today i wake up and have pain and this itch on my foreskin and this transperant like discharge has been going on for the whole day. last time i had sex was about a month ago with my girlfriend and she was on antibiotics. it was protected but the condom slightly came off for a second revealing some foreskin of mine to her. she said about 2 days later she had gotten a yeast infection. could i have one? what good treatments are there???

You certainly could. Buy some stuff for jock itch, and put it on twice a day, for two weeks.
Thoroughly wash it every night, before medicating.
Every time one partner has a yeast infection, you both should be treated.[ you will give it back and forth forever ].

Have you tried acidophilus capsules? They are pretty inexpensive, about $6.oo for a bottle of 100 at CVS Parmacy. Walmart has tablets. Take 2 caps 3 times aday. In worst cases, you can insert the gel-cap like you would a vaginal suppository. Yes, they really work!!!

i got a yeast infection by wearing tight shorts all of the time and now i dont know how to fix it with out going to the doctors

Here’s the home remedy I use, and it’s great, you’ll love it (eliminates burn upon contact!):
Toss 6 or more cloves raw garlic into a blender filled with warm water.
Blend like mad.
Strain, then douche with liquid. Take care to get all the outer areas that are affected.
Relief!
You can rinse/douche 2 or 3 times a day until the condition is gone.

I’m 13 and I haven’t had my period for about 2 months or less and I’ve been getting pimples on my head, bad temper, bloating, getting dehydrated and eating a lot of food than I normally do.

And about a yeast infection, water is shut down where I live right now it goes on and off and I can’t wash up anymore with the water problems, I’m getting really scared that I might have signs of a yeast infection I’ve been getting lots of itching but no white discharge.
And I don’t have a Mom to talk to about this, only a Father and there is no way I’m gonna talk to him about something this personal.

Can someone give answers please, but mostly about a yeast infection =’(
The itching has been going on around since Dec 26th =/
Right now, it’s starting to decrease but I’m still very worried.
I’ve read online to eat blueberries and tomatoes, and I have been eating lots since the itching began but it still

If your genitals itch, the best thing to do is to go see a doctor. Couldn’t you tell your dad that you have "lady problems" and to take you to a GYN? You don’t need to be specific about what it is. You need to see a doctor because it might not be a yeast infection but something else, even if you’re not sexually active.

Yeast infections are very, very common, pretty much every woman will get one at some point.
One thing you can do at home is fill a small tub/basin with warm water and mix in a pot of active culture yoghurt ( the kind with live bacterial culture in it and without flavor or sweetening!) then sit in with your legs spread. The bacteria in the yoghurt are the friendly bacteria you also find in your gut and vagina. It’s not a perfect cure but it’s soothing and can help.

Research, as cited below shows that the effect of circumcision is to increase the chances of many STDs being transmitted, while reducing the risk of very few. The frequently cited information about HIV transmission is not indicated to hold true in western nations, for various reasons.

"Recent studies have demonstrated that circumcised men are at increased risk of contracting gonorrhea, syphilis and genital warts. Men are at equal risk for developing human papillomavirus lesions and herpesvirus infections regardless of circumcision status. At least four studies have shown human immunodeficiency virus infection to occur more commonly in circumcised men"

– Storms MR. AAFP Fact Sheet on neonatal circumcision: a need for updating. Am Fam Physician 1996;54(4):1216-17.

further

"The only consistent trend is that uncircumcised males may be more susceptible to GUD, while circumcised men are more prone to urethritis. Currently, in developed nations, urethritis is more common than GUD [genital ulcer disease]. In summary, the medical literature does not support the theory that circumcision prevents STDs"

- Van Howe RS. Does circumcision influence sexually transmitted diseases?: A literature review. BJU Int 1999; 83, Suppl 1:52-62.

and

"Cross-sectional studies. Cross-sectional studies have been carried out in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia to determine the effects of circumcision upon STDs. All studies have found no significant effect of circumcision on the incidence of STD. Laumann et al. reported that circumcised men are slightly more likely to have both a bacterial and a viral STD in their lifetime. The British National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles reported that circumcised males have slightly more STDs but the difference was not judged to be statistically significant. Richters et al. found that non-circumcised men are slightly more likely to have penile candidiasis (yeast).

Conclusion. The evidence does not support non-therapeutic circumcision to prevent STD infection. On balance, non-circumcision is to be preferred because of the freedom from complications and other adverse effects."

Why do some insist Circumcision reduces the risk of STDs when research indicates otherwise?

Exactly it is well weird that loas of Americans get this done. Why on earth would you? There are mo benefits and everyone just does it cause everyone else is. I could never do thsis to my son as it is totally pointless and why would you want to cause them needless pain?

Man Ameircans get it done as they think it is cleaner (which it isnt). Its funny that I saw a programme on female circumscion and the women in Africa were doing it cause they thought it was cleaner on the girls! Even though we know thats ridiculous so whats the difference? Both lots of people have been brainwashed.

Soo…yeah. I’m pretty sure i have a yeast infection and i need something that i already have at home to use because i can’t go out and buy something cuz i’m broke…and i can’t go to my mom with this because she’s the kind who makes mountains out of mole hills and she’ll flip out and automatically think it’s something serious and take me to the gyno or something and find out i’m not a virgin and she’s really religious and believes in abstinence soo if she finds out i’ve had sex i’ll get kicked out and my life will be over.

so yeah. anyway does anyone have any advice? pleeeeeease help me out here? it’s itchy and really bothering me.

((if you go to the gyno there is no real way they can tell your a virgin or not. if hymen is broken, it broke during sports. Unless you dont use a condomn and had sex before going to gyno they might be able to tell.))

AZO cranberry supplement i use…
For a yeast infection:
Drink cranberry juice!
Lots of water!
And no baths. Take a warm shower.

i’m not gunna advise you tell your mom, but maybe a friend or sister can help.

hope this helps.
and if it doesnt go away call planned parenthood. You can go in by yourself.

Last night I took I inserted the monistat in my vagina, went to bed, and woke up to it extra itchy! I am not sexually active, I’m only 15 so its not an STD or anything. Please help! It is so itchy I cant stand it. Why is it so itchy after using the monistat? Does this happen sometimes? I have to apply vagisil its pretty bad.

I was about your age and the same thing happened. I woke up in the middle of the night and was EXTREMELY itchy and uncomfortable. In a couple days after keeping up with the monistat it went away. I think the topic lotion they give should help the itch. Just know it’s not just you.

go to the drug store and pick up some monistat. it comes in seven, three, and one day formulas, and comes with a topical cream to deal with the itching. seven day formula is the cheapest, while one day formula is the most expensive.
