I have had a reoccurent of BV for the last 2 years and I had my share of yeast. Im truly stomp this time about which one it is and the method of treatment.I cant afford to go and see a doctor. I’m married and I dont sleep around neither does my husband, so I know that its not a STD.PLEASE HELP! HELP! Only serious answers please!!

There is this product called Enzara that you get on line, clears is up(and the odor ) in about a week. The trick is… you’ve got to stay on the pills and drink plenty of water. They are herbal and no prescription is needed. It worked for me, hope this helps!

WHATS HE BEST WAY !!! && FAST!!

Put plain yogut on it! That is what the ladies did when I was back in the RAF. nm

No yogurt? I thought that worked. My bad!

Why can’t you have sex while on yeast infection medication? What happens?

Because they medication needs to stay inside you to help you get over the infection. Sex can end up with more medication outside of you than inside. Also, you still have an infection and can pass it to your partner. This goes whether you are on a pill treatment or cream.

i do not have money to by yogurt but i heard that if you put salt in your shower on your vigina for 5 minutes and then put vaseline that works?something that has to do with salt to cure yeast infection

could it be? My baby never had a rash since he was born and now that he is one he’s got one for a couple of days. I’ve try desitin but it’s not working very good…. he’s got redness and a bunch of small little bumps like insect bites right on hius buddy….could this be what they call a baby boy yeast infection???? or not???? and how can i treat it???

thanks

It does sound like a yeast infection. My son had one when he was a baby and the doctor recommended Lotrimin AF.

I am about 6 weeks pregnant and haven’t been to my ob yet but I think I have a yeast infection. My first appointment isn’t until June 9. Can I just use monistat? Or should I wait till I see her?

I’d recommend waiting. I know how aggrivating they are, but my doctor told me not to use the monistat and she gives me a prescription everytime i get one. If it gets hard to bare, call your ob and tell them whats going on, they may see you sooner or give you the ok about monistat.

I am 16 & I have a yeast infection, but my parents are not home to buy the treatment for me. Do you have to be 18 to buy the OTC treatment in Massachusetts? Thanks for your help!

There isn’t an age for them. You can get a monistat or Vagisil. If it doesn’t clear up in a few days, visit a doctor or a walk in clinic!! You can always go to a pharmacy like CVS, Walgreens and talk with the pharmacist. They do have a lot of information, and they usually have women you can talk with too.

i disagree with the previous answer. if you’re uncut, yeast infections are VERY easy to get, and hard as hell to get rid of. the short answer is yes–some monistat should take care of it. just be aware that every time you get a yeast infection, that there’s a little scarring that occurs on the inner mucosa of your foreskin. if you get too many infections, getting circ’d may be the only answer.

I have yeast overgrowth in my intestines and am confused about the diet. One website says I can eat it while another says i can’t. I know rice is starchy and to me that points to sugar. Can I have it or not and does anyone know a true yeast free diet? Also can I have oatmeal?

Yes! Rice is just fine. The primary thing to avoid is sugar. Candida (Yeast) feeds on sugar. I would also recommend taking supplements like: Grapefruit seed extract, and Oregano Oil. The "Now" brand Oregano Oil can destroy yeast. I have known many people who have used it, and had nothing but good to say about it. As far as your diet, You want to avoid eating alot of bread, fruit juices, anything with a high sugar content, beer or wine, ect. Oats and rice are fine. There is a natural sweetener known as "Stevia" which is very good for you and a far better alternative to Sweet N Low and other poisonous sweeteners.

I may have a yeast infection and the last time i have had my period was right after christmas around the 28th i usually hnave it for 4-5 days, i havent had it yet this month, can a yeast infection cause you to miss your period? i have never had a missed period. i was with my boyfriend at the time (we broke up) but we didnt go all the way so i cant be pregnant if we didnt have sex..can anyone please help?
Also, if you go to the doctor can the doctor tell if the yeast infection was caused from being somewhat sexually active? Will he/she know right away what caused it or do they have to ask you?

no, nothing can stop your period
