Ok, I have a yeast Infection and I took the 3 day meds. Doctor prescribed them to me. I finished the meds completely, 2 days ago. And, I don’t know what’s up. I feel A LOT better, but I don’t feel perfect. And, plus. I’ve been peeling down below. So, I was curious, do I possibly need to wait it out, or get more meds? And… How can I stop this peeling? I’ve read that it could be because I shower too much… so I’m reducing that. Could I put some sort of lotion on it read now…It’s the lips.. And, I know that several females have this happen. But, it disgusts me. So…………ANY HELP? Thank you!!
I thought about neosporin…or however you spell it. I don’t know if it would be good or bad for it. There’s also this rashy area, my fiance saw it today… Now he knows why I don’t want to be physical. lol. And, I only have 1 pair of 100% cotton, but I’m settling for whatever comes next.

I would wait a few more days. Make sure you are wearing cotton underwear, aren’t using very scented body wash, no colored toilet paper. As far as the peeling..I have never had that. I would use triple antibiotic ointment or vaseline.

Hi lately ive been having a bit of a problem that i havent dealt with before.
i see discharge more often than i did before, and it smells. i take showers everyday making sure that im squeaky clean all over, i dont have issues with burning or itching and my discharge is not thick and does not resemble cottage cheese. its just clearish, smooth texture,
Its getting on my nerves and im starting to worry that i have yeast infection. :( please help!
im not too open with my parents, so asking my mom to take me to a gynocologist is really uncomfortable and hard to explain. ive had this problem for like less than a week

All women have a natural discharge, all are different depending on how old they are and what part of the life cycle they are in and what part of the menstrual cycle they are going through. A normal discharge is healthy. A smelly one could be a sign of a infection.
I am sorry to hear that you do not have an open relationship with your Mom.
I would look into any free clinics which are around your area. Plan-Parenthood Clinics, you can go to one of these clinic and your parents do not need to know. If you do not have the money-that’s o.k they will see and treat you.
Good Luck.

I looked into vulvadynia, and it seems very possible. This is the first time the swelling has occurred, but since I’ve had my daughter 16 months ago, I’ve had at least 5 yeast infections (Or at least the symptoms of a yeast infection). The past 2 weeks, I would start to feel like I was getting another one, and then it would just go away. Since I’ve been using monostat 7, it’s gotten worse and the swelling started, also, another thing that makes me wonder if it’s vulvadyina, I just added sugar back into my diet recently, and that can trigger flare ups, from what I’ve heard.

Have you considered that (if you are having sex that is) your partner might have it too and be re-infecting you?
Maybe he needs treated because men don’t usually show symptoms . Try that first before you think it’s something more

yogurt and cranberry juice

Okay so I have a small lump under my skin on my labia minora at the very top. It is not HARD, but I can definitely feel it. It is tender and uncomfortable. I have been doing some research online for the past couple of days, and I think it is a seb cyst. Because the way those cysts are described sounds like it matches exactly…

I go to the gyno for regular annual check ups. I went last Nov and they ran all test, including blood tests and my tests were clean. I am going for my annual check up on Nov 14th. I have been with the same partner for 2 years now

I am also on the Nuva Ring and those are notorious for causing yeast infections….and I think I have one right now. I have had them before so I know what they would feel like. I bought an over the counter yeast infection one day treatment

1. COULD THESE BE RELATED…
2. Do the first description sound like a Seb Cyst?

Please Help

Seb cyst are very common in that area. I have one on my back. If it gets to large your going to have it lanced or drained at least. Let your gyne know about it so they can look at it to be sure. Nuva ring is to new for me to know much about it. But if it’s causing u to have yeasty prob. i would change my method.

This situation has me stumped, my nephew came to me because I am an RN. He apparently has a small series (2cm diameter) of bumps on the side of of penile shaft. They appear isolated and he claims to have some itching associated. I told him to put hydrocortisone crean on TID for two days and see if it is a rash. He is a 19 y/o male w/ two sex partners. He claims that his primary girlfriend has a problem with vaginal dryness during intercourse. NKDA – does not use a condom. Explain what condylomas and genital warts should look like, I havent examined any since my time in the Navy as a medic 10 years ago. He also claims they are itchy and painless. Almost appeared like ring worm appearance. What are your thoughts on yeast infection?
almost forgot he has not health insurance :( hence why he came to me first. Does planned parenthood help people like this out?

tell him to visit urologist, and if you suspect you got something to same, every male who has active sex with more than one partner or with partner who had more than one partners should have STDs test at least once a year, if male is found with STD he should tell his sex partners to have tests too, as healing only the one of the lovers does not work well.
as medic just tell him that visiting uroligist about STD is as normal as visiting GP about high fever
go with him if he is too shy to do so.

Just interested in the best home remedies for candida( yeast) infection. I was told plain yogourt, any others?

cleanliness & good airation.

I just need a little help right now and from what you all have experienced maybe you can help…months back i woke up with a bad yeast infection…after treating it about a week later it had cleared up. one morning i looked down and there was a horrible large sore out of no where! It was almost black and eventually almost looked like a cancer..it hurt alot. Having had this I went to the doctor but by this point it was healed..she tested me for everything BUT herpes and have no idea why. Anyways about a month later…yet another yeast infection which was treated and cured…now about 5 months later i woke up with an irrated vulva, red and itchy, nothing that looked like blisters or sores..then had discharge and treated the yeast infection again! About 2 weeks later yet again i wake up one morning with one vaginal lip swollen…it became very red and itchy…a few days later it seemed like another yeast infection..treated and then had my period and seemed fine..i have just ended my period and my vulva is again red and itchy its somewhat more…wrinkled then usual if that makes any sense but ive never had any at least which i could see…and anypain like the first time since?
I know sometimes yeast infections can infect the skin but wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?
I am going to the doctor next week and have my apointment…just bored and curious if anyone else had gone through similar and the outcome…also randomly have run into a few nurses on here with great advice.

If sexually active un protected then it can be a std. Are you on any type of antibiotics? Antibiotics causes yeast infections in many women. Try not to have sex again until you visit the doctor because that can be why it comes back so fast.

Lately it´s hurt me to touch myself and whenever I do it I get white mushy flakes in my finger… is it a yeast infection? how can I treat it without going to the doctor?

i heard that some of the signs are itching and the bad fishy smell of it, but i dont know about the white flakes. if you want to avoid going to the doctors then maybe you should do some research on the computer but some treatments are sold over the counters at like walmart or cvs at times. theres like a yeast infection kit sold at those places. but i would just go to the doctors to be safe!

I know it isn’t mites because I have treated him several times and he still scratches at his ear. I’ve checked for anything unusual such as a tick or an abrasion.

I researched the internet and found a recipe of water and vinegar 50:50. It didn’t work. I went to the vet’s to get Ottomax. That works much better. Ask your vet.
