So I am positive I have a yeast infection. Problem? I can’t go to the doctor again for it, since I am a college student down in the money department.
I think the main problem was my change in diet and excessive sexual activity last week over spring break. I normally have a balanced diet and drink lots of water, cranberry juice and yogurt which my doctor recommended to keep chronic yeast infections at bay. I also got soap rubbed down there while taking a shower with my boyfriend and using non-water based lubricants without washing off throughly.

Can I keep some easy at home remedies? Nothing that will leave me smelling bad (like garlic), and won’t take more than a few days.

I’m also having a burning sensation when I pee, and it feels like I have something blocking my urethra. I’ve never felt this with other yeast infections, but it feels similar to when I used to get UTI’s. Ideas?
I’m going to schedule an appt in the morning at our campus wellness center (which is 100% free), for the UTI, I’m pretty sure that’s what part of it is, but the yeast infection medication at our Pharmacy are more expensive.
I don’t want to BUY a book. I want real advice for something to get rid of it now. I’m currently waiting on my pee sample to be processed.

Hi,

I know exactly how you feel! I used to suffer from yeast infections constantly and no matter how many different
creams and pills I tried it always came back :(

I was so embarrassed by it that I couldn’t bare to keep going to the doctors. In the end I found this website on the internet which changed everything and made me feel myself again. If you want to take a look, it’s at http://www.QuickYeastInfectionCure.com

Hope it works for u too!

i have not had this happen until i had sex 4 or 5 motnhs ago now i think i have a yeast infection i give out a lot of discharge everyday sometimes it has a smell now my stomach feels really sore from the belly button down i get twitches wich i think cimes from low magnesium what ever that is and i get sick after eating is this a yeast or bacterial in infection
i am not pregnant
took three HPT they all said no

It could be a number of things, Trichomonis, Pelvic Inflamatory Disease, Yeast. Generally the other STD’s include painful / burning sensation during urination. You may want to use this site to self diagnose so you will know whether you should see a doctor. It’s a useful tool I use. Also there is a test you can purchase at the store that can determine whether you need to be seen, it detects bacterial infections, etc,. it should be on the femine products isle, sorry I don’t remember the name, it is fairly new on the market. You could probably ask the pharmacist what it is called.

Always get an oral yeast infection after taking antibiotics. Any remedy that doesn’t include a prescription??

I took antibiotics when I had an ear infection. The only way I got rid of the yeast infection is eating mountain high yogurt, and stay away from sugar because it feeds it.

Not discharge but the actual skin.
Uhh Lori..wtf are you talking about?

Not the actual skin, no.

what are the symtoms/signs of a penile yeast infection….male (personal part) yeast infection??

and also what are the symptoms/signs of a male urinate infection

please and thank you.

Yeast infection: itchiness, redness on the head of the penis, sometimes a white ‘cottage cheese’ discharge. If a woman has a yeast infection, she can also give it to you. A man can also get it from prolonged use of antibiotics. It’s nothing serious and it normally clears up by itself. If it bothers you, get an anti-fungal cream and keep your penis clean.

Urinary infection
Urgency to pee
Urgency to pee often
May burn
May feel like only a little bit of urine is coming out

i found this and i want to know if it works:

the censored word is v@gina

Stay away from deodorant sanitary pads and tampons, sprays such
as deos, perfumes, bubble baths, coloured toilet papers that
could cause irritation to the *GRAB*l tissues

Take a tampon and dip it into yoghurt. Insert in the *GRAB* at
least twice a day and continue a day or two more after your
symptoms have gone away.

Few drops of tea tree oil poured on tampon and inserted in the
*GRAB*, provides relief.

Eat plenty of foods that are high in vitamin C, such as
potatoes, citrus fruits and broccoli.

Fill a bathtub with warm water enough to cover the affected
area. Add ½ cup or so salt, enough to make the water really
salty and ½ cup vinegar. Immerse your self into the bath tub
for approx 20 – 30 minutes. This is easy cleansing solution for
your *GRAB*l are

is this ok to do? will it through off the pH in any way?
thank you!!!!
Mix olive leaf extract, grapefruit seed extract in a glass of
water. This is a good curative tonic for this infection.

Fill a bathtub with warm water enough to cover the affected
area. Add ½ cup or so salt, enough to make the water really
salty and ½ cup vinegar. Immerse your self into the bath tub
for approx 20 – 30 minutes. This is easy cleansing solution for
your *GRAB*l area.

Mix 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in 2 cups of water with 1
clove of garlic. Let it stand for sometime and use it for
douching.

Insert 1 or 2 boric acid capsules in the *GRAB*, keeping it
overnight for several days. Boric acid may cause burning and
discomfort, but will also bring relief.

i don’t know about any of these, but i have used pure lysol a capful in a guart jar of hot water straddle toleit and pour on vagina it will burn like u won’t believe but it will kill the germs takeing sit baths can cause infections bubble baths too.

i think i have a yeast infection i bought a over the counter cream for a one day treatment 2 days ago when i first got it burned so badly but went away i have noticed that it has gotten a little better but i still have some itching? how long does it take to go away ?

Honestly, those 1 day treatment things don’t work too well for everyone. It should have knocked out the symptoms that day. You should either buy a 3-day or 7-day pack or call your doctor so they can give you an antibiotic.

It burns when I go to the bathroom. My discharge is kinda yellow…It doesn’t itch or anything, and I haven’t drank water all day. My mom said that might be the reason: dehydration. What do you think?

With a yeast infection, the discharge is white (doctors describe it as resembling cottage cheese) and the itching is unbearable. The discharge with yeast infection does not smell bad, just kind of yeasty. If your discharge is unusual or smells bad, you should see a doctor.

If you have burning with urination, you might have a urinary tract infection. if it continues or if you get bladder spasms, blood in your urine, or a fever, see a doctor. In the meantime, drink a lot of fluids, and include cranberry juice. It can often take care of a bladder infection in the early stages.

First time was about 4-5 weeks ago, took diflucan, went away for a week. Felt itchy again the following week, used monistat 3, but it only made it worse, burning, itching. Went away for a week, had sex w/ condom and now it is itchy/burning again when I pee. I am on my period now and the GYN said they can’t do much when I’m on my period and to let the period "flow it out" and to use monistat, but no way am I gonna go that route again!

What to do? I bought vagisil and azo yeast pills to possible help? But why do I keep have recurring yeast infs? My GYN just said, "well some people just are more susceptible than others" Thanks that didn’t help me much GYNO!

Look up info on candida overgrowth. It may lead you to some possible answers. Candida is one of those controversial medical issues. Most doctors won’t deny the existence of candida overgrowth, but the importance of detecting and treating it varies within the medical community. Its usually something a natural doctor or a homeopath will deal with. Take the information with a grain of salt, but realize that it is something that most won’t dispute completely.

If you are frustrated with vagisil, etc. and want to try some natural methods of dealing with the problem at hand, I know of two that worked for many of my friends. You can try yogurt, applied topically, or just eat a lot more of it. If you are vegan/non-dairy, soy yogurt with the live active cultures works just as well. Women I worked with at a natural grocery store inserted garlic cloves (tie a string on and its just like a tampon) and this cleared up their infections very well. This did not work for me, but I was the only one I know that tried it that did not have good results. Eating more soy yogurt helped. Good luck whatever you do.

Please?

I eat yogurt. not to fast but it naturally balances out my PH. i also drink lots of cranberry juice for bladder infection. I like the raspberry- cran. it does take a little time but i have found i get less as i get older. also, stop eating breads and such during this time. maybe they are wives tales but they have worked for me
