I have a 13 year old daughter with autism, she’s a wonderful child, & has come a really long way. I have been reading that wheat & dairy free diets seem to free their bodies of yeast which have been said to "fog" their brain, & prevent them from expressing themselves more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your time.

I have found two websites, one is Autism Web, which probably has a lot of good information, as well as help with the diet you are curious about.

You can find a world of information on the internet by doing a Yahoo search for whatever you are looking for. I did a search for WHEAT AND DAIRY FREE DIET to come up with these links for you. There is also a lot of information about autism on the internet, as well.. just do a search.

I sure hope things work out and glad your daughter has come such a long way. hugs

im only 19 and never had a yeast infection before.i was suppose to start febuary 11 but still never started.i done three pregnancy test in the first week of being late and all said negitive. i dont think im pregnant though becuase i have no sytphoms at all. i dont really know much about a yeast infection either.recently i am all the time having discharge and it is mostly clear.can a yeast infection cause you to be late

if you still havent had your period, you need to take another pregnancy test.

Weve tried the steroids from the vet, weve tried the yogart supplements, no more human food, wheat free food!!! Im at a loss! help

Many yeast infections are allergy related…either food allergies or outdoor allergies. First, I’d try a good food formulated for dogs with food allergies, like California Natural or Natural Balance (they have several formulas-look for the allergy ones…ALL California Natural products are for allergic dogs). After that-back to the vet…ask for an ANTI FUNGAL…and ask why the vet gave you only steroids to start with…steroids do not treat fungus…they’ll treat inflammation.

If this is an ongoing issue, ask about preventative treatments (putting medication in the ear once per week), or ask about allergy testing.

You need to consult a doctor. There is medication available that you swish in your mouth, then swallow. A couple of the most common ones are Nystatin & Diflucan. It’s just an antifungal that will get rid of the yeast pretty quickly. Also, what caused the yeast? Lots of antibiotics will lead to this. Perhaps there’s another medication this person could take if this is the cause.

I have had a yeast infection before and always used the medicine to treat it. I have heard that plain sugar free yogurt can also treat it… but will it do just as good of a job? will it take longer? is it better in the long run? Please provide instructions on how to treat with plain yogurt or if the medicine is better just give your opinion. I appreciate your answers.

yes! of course it is !!!

and if you have yeast infection then you must get rid of it as soon as it is possible!!!

if you really want to get rid of yeast infection then you must follow these tips:

1) Eat yogurt!!!! It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.

2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.

3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.

4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent.

5) Try gentian violet. It’s a traditional remedy for yeast and other infections, and can be found in pharmacies. Swab the area with it once or twice a day. Make sure to use a thick pad – it stains everything.

6) Use an herbal douche. Combine equal amounts of sage, raspberry and comfrey with 1/4 part goldenseal. This can be combined with cider vinegar.

7) You must use herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!
And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly). For me it worked very fast + I dont get yeast infections anymore…

YES YES YES….He should be treated and you should not have sex with him untill its cleared.

I DON’T HAVE A "SIMPLE VAGINAL YEAST INFECTION" AND IF YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT SYSTEMIC YEAST DO NOT ANSWER! I WILL DELETE.

Moving on..

I’ve had Systemic Yeast for 3 years now and lately the left frontal portion of my head/brain has been having sporadic bouts of mild pain. It’s mild pain and this has been going on for like 2 days now, today would be the third day.

I’m on the Candida Diet trying to help starve the yeast.

But my question is, how would you know when yeast spreads to your brain?

Is that why I’m having these weird feelings?

What should I do?

I’ve actually not heard of cases where Cadida is able to invade and form abcesses in the brain. Even with systemic candidiasis, it mostly affects the visceral organs such as kidneys, liver, lungs, etc. This doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen, and you’d need an MRI to confirm this. However, it seems very unlikely for that to be the case.

That being said, what are you using to treat the infection, and also, what is causing you to get systemic candidiasis? Did you get a transplant, on steroids, etc?

This is my second pregnancy & I have had a zillion complications so far. Here’s a breakdown:
1) I found out I have genital warts & HPV that they cant treat because I am pregnant
2) I have had several UTI’s & yeast infections my entire pregnancy. Have been on prescription gels, creams & oral antibiotics for thrush but it comes back everytime. The Canesten seems to work the best but it returns within a week afterwards.
3) I have been diagnosed with Group B Strep & need to have antibiotics during labour.

I am due in a week & am in such pain from this "yeast" infection it is unbearable to move. It is so swollen & red & itches. The discharge seems to burn, especially during sex, it gets EVERYWHERE. I have to wear sanitary pads all the time. It interrupts my sleep. Anyone know how I can get rid of this or should I just wait until after the baby comes? How worried should I be that any of these diagnoses will harm the baby?
Thanks.

if you have genital warts – you MUST get rid of them as soon as it is possible because genital warts are very contagious!!

and if you really want to get rid of genital warts forever then you should know that you can remove genital warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or cream but genital warts can reappear again and again because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak!

HPV is the virus that causes genital warts. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop genital warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It largely depends on the infected person’s immune system. A healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.

Even after the warts go away, the person will always remain infected with HPV. That person can spread the virus even without showing symptoms.

so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of genital warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities! (No smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs, no junk food, no fast food garbage, no sugary sweet soda’s. Get on a good, balanced, healthy diet including plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables.
Drink P L E N T Y O F W A T E R , fruit juices & fat free milk. Snack on lots of RAW fruit & veggies. Get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk – then – do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. Get 8 hours sleep each night. Flip your mattress over so it will level out to give you a good night’s rest. Slack off too much coffee & tea)

also you must use herbal treatment because you can not always live 100% healthy…!!!

in that case Wartrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of genital warts comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! It works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts + it helps to prevent cervical, penile, anal and etc cancer because HPV virus in 70% cases cause cancer!!!

and of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly).

It worked very fast and still works for me because I do not have genital wart outbreaks anymore and my papsmear is still normal!!!

I have an IUD and a pesky yeast infection. No money for the doctor, not a fan of Monistat. Can I use the "garlic clove" remedy with my IUD? Are there better DIY treatments?

I have the Mirena IUD and have had every single negative side effect of it – from cramping to continuous bleeding to losing my hair (literally). Shortly after I had mine in, i thought i had a yeast infection and tried monistat. it didn’t work and i ended up back in the dr’s office. turned out to be an infection that i had to take serious antibiotics that made me sick to my stomach and threw up several times per day thanks to them, but it was the only way to clear up the infection. it was brutal. i would just go see the doc asap.

okay so i went to the gynocolagist(sp) a month agoo, im 16 btw. and she said i had a yeast infection, a minor one though. so i got medicine, i used the monistat 3 days one and it didnt work. so i got another monistat 3 days one. like idk if its just some common discharge, cuz my docter said most girls get discharge. or if its still the yeast infection.

It could just be discharge cut out the caffeine for awhile drink lots of water if clears up it was an infection of it stays the some it’s norm for you age.
