Whats going on here? Yeast infections?
Im 22 years old. I was diagnosed with endometriosis at age 19. Ever since I was younger Ive always had chronic and reaccuring yeast infections. Im not on antibiotics,I dont have any major illnesses,I take good care of myself down there,and Im not diabetic, so whats causing them to come around so much and be so bad??

yeast infection or what?
I am 4 months pregnant and having discharge with foul smell(no burning or itching) is this a yeast infection , I am tired of changing panty everyday twice in a day.bcs of smell. Is it yeast infection(does it have any side effect on pregnancy
You could have an infection of some sort. I would go to the dr. and have it checked out to be safe.

This actually does work, but only if you are invested and make sure to wash often. You dont need to put it up in, on the area thats inflamed and or itchy works fine. I wouldn’t suggest leaving it on more than two hours though, because you’ll just create a damp environment for the yeast to enjoy. Make sure to wash well with soap often, but don’t scrub or you’ll just irritate the skin more. Also, drinking lots and lots of cranberry juice kicks the crap out of yeast infections. It strengthens your body’s natrual defenses against bacteria and other harmful little buggers.

Monistat 7 for Yeast infections?
I’ve had a really bad yeast infection for a while with terrible itching. I’m 17 and a virgin so I know it’s not an std or anything. I went to the ob/gyn and they said it was a yeast infection and gave me this one pill and some cream to use and said if it didn’t go away to use monistat 7. The pill and cream they gave me did not help so I brought monistat the other day and I was just wondering are there any side effects? Does it really work? and the cream that you put up there at night, does it just stay there through the next day or does it eventually dissolve? I know, dumb question but I’m just wondering.

going to a doctor, buying any cremes or telling my parents. If it is super serious of course i will but i rather avoid it if possible. I promise you i am a virgin, never had sex before, but i had a lot of pubic hairs and i just..trimed it because it was starting to irritate me and i wasnt comfortable wearing pants.

sounds more like chafing than yeast infections, you have to have a compromised immune system to get a yeast infection on the skin lol. Dont put lotions on it, it will just irritate the skin more. trimming pubic hairs will help, but make sure you wear long boxers instead of breifs when you wear jeans. Make sure you change clothes after sweating a lot as well. Wet jeans on bare skin will make you chafe there easily. This isn’t a sexual problem, and you should be safe to talk to your parents.

Hi im 14 years old & im having some discomfort in my vagina, it burns but on a scale from 1-10 its probably about a 5 or 6 on discomfort, but it doesn’t burn or anything when i urinate. its been itching too & i have been having some discharge too.

First of all sorry to hear that – It sometimes sucks to be a female! From what you are describing, it sounds very much like a yeast infection rather than a bladder or urinary tract infection. An ice pack will relieve the itching but it won’t cure it. A yeast infection only gets worse in terms of the itching and burning and you may want to see a doctor, just to rule out any other type of infection. Monistat is an over the counter remedy that works very well to get rid of yeast infections. The other thing, if you want a natural remedy is plain yogurt (no flavoring) with the live cultures. Start eating a ton of it and believe it or not, I put some on a pad (like Always) so the yogurt was in direct contact ‘down there.’ I had to do this when I was pregnant because the doctor wouldn’t prescribe anything for me.
