i had a yeast infection for two months straight… the medications were not working.. finally after being on diflucan for 10 days it went away…. i havent had symptoms for about 2 weeks.. and i just got my period 2 days ago… is it ok to wear a tampon…? i hate pads….

I am almost 8 weeks pregnant…I think I have yeast infection?

Can men get yeast infections all on their own or do they ONLY get them from their female partners ?

If men can get them on their own – what are some reasons ? Would being a diabetic be one of them ?

Yeast Infection on my Breasts????

I called my hospital and told them of a rash that I got today! I have it covering my breasts, and belly, from the belly button up, and anywhere that my bra would be touching. I thought it might be hives, but can’t seem to find anything online about having a yeast infection on my breasts. I was woundering if anyone could tell me more about this, or if anyone knew where there are pictures with information so that I can compare to make sure that it’s not something else! Thanks for your time and efforts! It is greatly appreciated!

I would love to call and make a dr. appt but I don’t think that is possible at 12am! so until i can call them i just need something else to ease my mind!

this is a condition called PUPPS and being close to your third trimester some women are proned to getting it.. here is a great website that will help you .. it exlpains what they will give you if it gets extremely bad..but it does not harm you or the baby.. good luck and congrats on the little one coming..

Amoxicillin caused a yeast infection?

I took Amoxicillin for a sinus headache, but I had forgotten to take some pills for a day so I would just take one instead of two…it has been a week or so since I last took it, but a couple days ago I noticed itching down there. I used monistat 1, but am still experiencing itching two days after using it, and I checked w/ a mirror and have little paper cuts. They are not bumpy or blistery, just little cuts. Is this a yeast infection that could have been caused by the amoxicillin, or could it be something else like herpes?

I know, I was on amoxicillion 500mg 3 times a day and I have oral thrush for about 2 weeks now. Sucks :(

Not feeling ‘normal’…?

Okay, I had a doctor’s appointment, but they cancelled and I had to reschedule for next week. But I feel like I’m dying! Can anyone help or give advise or something before I go in next week?
Here’s what I’ve been experiencing:
Nausea (for the past month, on and off)
EXTREME exhaustion
A little vomiting/dry heaving (not much)
Lower abdomin pain (like I’m being stabbed)
(And to top it off, I got a yeast infection yesterday!)

Sorry if it’s a little gross to some of you. I’ve just been completely miserable lately. Does anybody have any idea of what this could possibly be? (I’m not pregnant, I just just had a period last week.) I’m planning on getting some blood work doen at the doctor’s. I’m just going nuts right now!

These are flu-like symptoms and can indicate a wide variety of problems. I would suggest that you do some research on a trusted site like www.webmd.com and if it is too intolerable to wait for your appointment, either go to a walk-in clinic or the emergency room. They are not the most reliable places, but they should be able to hold you over.

I noticed some werid discharge. I had a fever a couple days ago and back pain. I had that same thing when I had a batter infection a while ago. It went away in 2 days. It sounds like both to be honest, but it could be neither. Have you ever tried out that yourdiagnosis.com?? You tell it your symptoms and it diagnoses you. If you have a bladder infection then lots of cranberry juice can help or a glass of water with a teaspoonfull of baking soda. If its a yeast infection then get some canesten, you can buy it over the counter. Germoline and calamine lotion can help too.
