I took Azo from the store and it worked within a couple days. It’s a pill you swallow so no putting things "up there" or going into the doctor or gyno.

I have had this yeast infection for several days. If anyone out there has had it, you totally understand my pain and aggrivation. How in the heck is the fastest way to cure it? I have been using the over the counter stuff, it just doesn’t seem to be working fast enough to suit me. Please help! I have been to the Dr. in the past with the same symptoms, they said it is a yeast infection.

a great home thing is when it starts up early on sit in a tub of hot water with half a bottle of vinegar in it and sit there but open up ur lips and splash the water around and then rinse of with warm water

Well, i posted this question and most of the people are saying it’s a yeast infection. So are there any cures for a yeast infection? If so can you post the name and price. Do you need a doctor for a cure? I mean like do you need a doctor to find the right cure? Can you just buy 1 at the store without a presciptsion?

Eat a lot of yogurt, like yoplait they are like a dollar each if not on sale. there are cultures in yougurt that kill the bacteria in yeast.
drink lots of water
and go get an over the counter yeast infection pack. Monistat has worked the best for me. it’s around 15-20 dollars depending on which one you get.
it’s the quickest easiest way to cure yourself, just make sure you follow the directions on the pack.

if you do all of the above and it still doesn’t help you need to see a doc cause that means it’s not a yeast infection

Eat a lot of yogurt with the active cultures in it.

I’m not sure how quickly this will work, but besides that there are no other "at home", "natural" cures. They sell things like Monistat or Vagisil for relatively inexpensively at any drug store and they should get rid of it in a few days, that is probably your better option right now.

I agree with Barb about the garlic. Sounds weird but works. I’d add to that stay off of sugar, alcohol and cut down as low as you can on carbs (Pasta, bread, etc)

Monistat 7… I swear by it. Once you are cured, take measures to prevent another infection by always making sure things are clean before they go in your vagina, don’t wear tight pants or thongs more than a couple hours at a time, use appropriate soap to clean things down there (Summer’s Eve has a good line and they aren’t expensive), don’t douche more than once a week, less if you can, and change tampons frequently when you use them.

Today is Wednesday, and I’m leaving on friday night. I had yeast infection before so I have the medication. But, I want it to be cured before I go for my Japan trip which is on Friday. How fast can it be cured? How can I get it cured faster?

go to vitamins shoppe get flora pills , a kind of acidolpholis… with all strands..
take cranberry pills for UTI which usually go along with yeast infection,,,

look into candida..

I need to cure my yeast infection fast…which works better, Gyne-Lootrimin, Vagistat, or Monistat?

Dumb ass D R….you are supposed to eat the yogurt, not douche with it. Yogurt can help your body keep from getting too many yeast infections. And Monistat has always worked well for me..
