Sometimes you can treat a yeast infection with over the counter meds that look like wax eggs. They actually contain an antifungal medicine that is released over time. They are alot smaller that real eggs. Maybe just a little but bigger than a jelly bean. And you insert it yourself at home. It’s really not that uncomfortable. Just like you would insert a tampon. Well I heard from some of my friends and people online that have had yest infections in there life say that periods can cure them sometimes. I know I have one because I have everything from burning, itching, cottage cheese looking but I know my period is coming in a few days. No, it doesn’t cure it. It just masks it while you have your period and then days later the itching, burning will begin again. You don’t have to go to the doctor…just eat a lot of yogurt and buy some Monistat cream. Get the cheap store brand and save yourself a few dollars.

Vagisil only controls symptoms, like itching. Try an over the counter medication like Monistat and use it exactly according to the package directions. That is easier, less messy and more reliable than yogurt.

Go to a local store such a Walmart or a drug store and get some medication, they have many to choose from. Vaginal yeast infections can last up to 3 days to a week or until cured. I’ve never heard of any home cures for a yeast infections so I doubt it.

I use Apple Cider Vinegar from the health food store. I use it straight and put it in a little cup and use a clean washcloth to dab in there. Ive also heard you can use an eyedropper with ACV {apple cider vinegar} and put 0ne or two drops in each ear-bi weekly. Carefully peel one clove of garlic. Wrap in gauze and insert into the vagina. Leave in for up to twelve hours. Repeat as necessary. It also helps to eat a lot of garlic or the easy way get over the counter medicines, ask a pharmacist.

To the guys before me, yes yeast infection sounds bad but over 80% of women get it in their lifetimes, so its quite common.

Okay I totally understand where you are coming from. I would subject you go and buy the Vagasil test kit that shows you what kind of affection you have by the color on the test trip and go from there.

I have a yeast infection, and I hate it (but doesn’t everyone?). I want it to go away. I use this Monistat soothing cream, I don’t know the exact name. Every time I wash the genital area, and the cream washes off, the ‘itching sensation’ comes back, and I hate this repetition! So, when Monistat 1 says that it will cure the yeast infection, does it mean forever? Thanks in advance.

Its near impossible for a OTC to absolutely cure something.
I suggest going to a doctor and getting a prescription.
