Natural Yeast Infection Cure Archives

I just wondering if any one has ever tried natural remidies for getting rid of an yeast infection and did they work??

I developed a yeast infection on wednesday and took the monistat but it seems as though when i take that stuff im more itchy then when i dont have it in my system. And its only really bad in the morning and through out the day it gets better till at night when i take the medication and in the morning. This has really bumbed me out I have not had one for over a year now. and i get to see my husband next weekend and i want this gone!!

So can anyone Help??

I always used plain unsweetened yogurt and filled a syringe with it and put it up in that area (know what I mean LOL) and I got immediate relief, and the infection was cleared up in a few days. It’s safer and cheaper than those messy creams or that pill they give you. It just balances the natural bacteria that the yeast overgrow in the vagina. Another thing, taking a good probiotic complex with acidophilus, thermophilus and bifidophilus, as well as fructooligosaccrides (they feed the ophilus’s LOL) can help clear it up, and prevent future infections from occurring.

What are some home remedies for curing yeast infections?
What are some natural cures that actually work to get rid of yeast infections?

I have tried the over the counter treaments and this 7 day doctor prescribed treatment and yet I still have a yeast infection.
I have been ill with a yeast infection since March.Nothing is working!

What are some home remedies that will get rid of this yeast infection once and for all?
I want this infection to go away.

I’m getting really frustrated because I have had this infection since March!
The doctor tried Diflucan on me and it still didn’t work.Still sick with yeast infection since March. Its crazy and frustrating!

Check out: http://www.earthclinic.com/ I’ve heard apple cider vinegar is good at getting rid of yeast infections. I use it to clean out my dog’s ears (his breed is prone to yeast/bacteria infections in the ears) and it works great! :)

Or is there anything you can do to stop a mild one from turning into a full blown one? I appreciate any informative, mature answers. :)

yes, and it does not hurt even if it sounds like it

take a big garlic clove (organic if you can)and peel it. run a thread through it and knot the ens like threading a needle. Insert into vagina (you can also put a few slits in it to increase strength) remove via the string..insert new one ever day or two

some people insert yogurt research on google but I used and preferred the garlic method that I learned from Dr Richard Schulze, maker of the save your life videos

I would try the garlic method and follow it up with yogurt internally and externally (plain organic yogurt not flavored internally) be sure it says it has active cultures on the container

I have been taking a Acidophilus sup., how many should I be taking daily
I also take a cinnamon supplement
along with a multi & vitamin b, fish oil and sometimes chlorophyll.
Is this ok?

put plain yogurt up your hoohah.
it sounds weird, but it works.

Yoghurt is the common folk medicine that cures it but it takes time and is better prophylaxis than a cure. And the yoghurt needs to have active acidophilus cultures. Besides being a healthy snack, yoghurt can be used topically or as a douche but only if you’re patient enough to wait for results. To prevent recurring infections eating yoghurt daily has been an accepted and tested practice.

I’ve attached a really lame link listing some homeopathic cures based upon the types of symptoms people experience. But one caveat: these work best on recurring infections.

Oh yeah, caveat number two: I’m assuming you have had yeast infections before, because if you haven’t there are other vaginal infections with similar symptoms. So if its the first time you should have a doctor check it out.

If you don’t like eating yogurt, you can also get probiotics in a pill form… that’s the part of yogurt that actually helps to promote a healthy internal ecology that yeast has a hard time growing in.
Acidophilus is the most common probiotic, but many people prefer a complex of that with other things. The best thing is that if you take probiotics on a daily basis, I’ve talked to a lot of customers that haven’t had yeast infections since shortly after they started taking probiotics. Good luck!

I hear that this was a natural cure instead of OTC creams. Have you ever tried it? If so, what were your results?

Yes, many people have used yogurt for yeast infections because of the Probiotics that are in it which help to defend against bacteria and growths like yeast, but more people use it more for prevention.
However, if you want to fight an active yeast infection, I would highly recommend using a good Probiotic complex because there will be much more of the Probiotics in it to help fight the yeast. For maintenance, you would want to get a product that has at least 3-5 strains and at least 2-4 billion viable organisms, although for an active yeast infection, I would recommend at least 10-20 billion viable organisms. With that kind of a dose, you should feel much better within a few days and basically "normal" within anywhere from a week to a month depending on how much your body needs.
Also, whenever you go from no Probiotics in the diet to a larger dose of Probiotics, most people do get loose stools. That is a perfectly normal function of your body trying to regulate itself and often stops within a day or two. Good luck and I hope I helped!

OK i have been using the Yogurt remidy for curing my yeast infection. I started last night. and today its still here. i was just wondering how long does it take with the Yogurt to get rid of the imfection. i dont want to use monistat becuase i have read that its not good for you. I was just wondering if any one has there own cures that are natural and what you have done and how long it took to get rid of.
and to add this is not my frist yeast infection.

Here’s an awesome website from Michigan State University that will tell you everything you could possibly need to know about yeast infections and do-it-yourself yeast-infection treatments, including yogurt: http://www.msu.edu/~eisthen/yeast/yourself.html

Anyway, the yogurt method can become a bit messy and time-consuming. I usually opt for the 3-day cream treatments (they’ve always done the trick), though I sympathize with your suspicion of synthetic medicines. I personally would never take an internal medication for a yeast infection, either. The over-the-counter topical treatments are far less intrusive and have far fewer unnecessary extra chemicals than any oral treatment.

My 2 year old German Shepherd has a yeast infection in his ears, skin, and anus.
I have done a lot of research online and many web sites suggest using vinegar, yogurt etc.

My question is;
Do you know of any ALL NATURAL remedies known to treat and cure yeast infections in dogs?

Please respond only if you have treated this condition your animal all naturally and gotten good results.

Please tell me what you used, how much, and how often.

-Thank you!!
To: ?PomMom?®™ ?Spay & Neuter?
You are so horribly mistaken, it pains me to even read your uneducated response.
There are tons of all natural remedies to treat this condition. Not to mention thousands of success stories on the internet.
I am asking for other peoples PERSONAL experience and knowledge about this condition. I do not believe in pumping my animal full of harmful and toxic medications. You are exactly the type of closed minded person who I did not want replying to my question.

Lack of answers must tell you there are no natural home remedies and your dog needs to be treated by a vet.

ADD:
That’s exactly what they are…STORIES – NOT fact. I can Google Big Foot on the internet – doesn’t make it true! If it were that simple, you would have gotten a lot more responses! Call your vet and ask – the phone call is FREE. And how do you even know it’s a yeast infection? Are you a vet? Looks like it’s YOU that needs the education!

Yeast infection is a FUNGUS and is killed with FUNGICIDE – NOT yogurt! ROLFLMAO

The internet is NOT a suppose to be a substitute for proper vet care

What I do that helps is fill up an empty tampon dispenser thing with yogurt. Then freeze it in the freezer then insert it when frozen at night b4 you go to bed so it sits in there for a while.
