Signs Of Yeast Infection Archives

i have had milky white stuff coming out of my vagina lately.. i have never had sex i’m only 16 .. is this a yeast infection or what?.. what should i do?

If it is really smelly then is probably is. You don’t have to have sex to get one. I once got one having a pap smear. Could also be from tampons. If you are too afraid to go the doctor you could try douching it with a mix of white vinegar and water using a syringe (but not with a needle in it. Like what you give medicine to babies with. You can get big ones from the chemist). After a few days it should clear.

can men carry and pass on a yeast infecion and if so how long does it take before the female will see signs of an infection?

Yes, it can be passed back and forth. And it can happen in a matter of days. However, you do not have to be sexually active to get an yeast infection.

can that cause you to skip your period??

my doctor said i had some signs of a slight yeast infection and she gave me a single pill for yeast infection..i am not late on my period i still have 3 days but a week ago i got all the symptoms of getting my period but they went away..

can anyone help??

thanks

it was probably just a short period and theres no reason to worry

I’ve been taking spinning classes for over a few weeks now the classes are over and hour long and you get very sweaty. I generally wear tight fitting pants due to the nature of the class and intensity however a little over a week ago I began to feel the signs of a yeast infection..however they are extremely mild can exercise be the cause?

It’s not the exercise itself, but the tight clothes and moisture and heat from working up a sweat. That and the slight friction when you’re sitting on the bike seat. I imagine the clothes you’re wearing are made of lycra or spandex blends of sorts. Try wearing cotton undies, and see if you can find a slim fitting but slightly looser cotton short to wear instead of the tight fitting pants, it will help with the possible yeast infections and discomfort.

If it’s a yeast infection, it will really burn and itch and get progressively worse without treatment. You’d also notice thick white discharge.

If it’s just heat rash or irritation from the sweat and tight clothes, it would likely subside once you’ve showered and dried off.

That being said, good for you for taking spin classes! I’m still working myself up to that level :P hehe.

but the doctors have ran all the test and they show know infection , the tests are good, they even did tests for sexual deseases and thats all good, has anyone heard of this before

if you have yeast infection then you must get rid of it as soon as it is possible!!!

if you really want to get rid of yeast infection forever then you must follow these tips:

1) Eat yogurt!!!! It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.

2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.

3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.

4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent.

5) Try gentian violet. It’s a traditional remedy for yeast and other infections, and can be found in pharmacies. Swab the area with it once or twice a day. Make sure to use a thick pad – it stains everything.

6) Use an herbal douche. Combine equal amounts of sage, raspberry and comfrey with 1/4 part goldenseal. This can be combined with cider vinegar.

7) You must use herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!
And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly). For me it worked very fast + I dont get yeast infections anymore…

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Yeastrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.yeastrol.com/?aid=221781

good luck!

Ok so last month I had a yeast infection 2/20 then started my period on the 21st (2 days early and I’m very regular so my period being early is wierd for me) my period lasted for 5 days which is normal and then today I’m having the same yeast infection signs (itchyness slight burning and hardly any pain this time) what do you think the problem is? I’ve read online on causes of a yeast infection and I don’t seem to have done any of that (anti biotics or wet bathing suit or birth control and I don’t think I’m pregnant ) Any info is greatly appreciated
I had a yeast infection once when I was 18 and that was it till last month so I’m not the kind to get em every month. I’m 22 and I’ve only had 2 yeast infections and now this possible one.

The hormonal changes that come with your period can trigger a YI. In this case, it is likely the same infection returning. Try treating now and avoid sugar for a while to allow your body to recover. Consider eating a serving of plain yogurt with live cultures, or taking a probiotic supplement for a few weeks. It really does help. I put it off for three years and suffered every other week or so. It gets worse the longer you wait. Good luck.

i think I might have a yeast infection but I’m not sure. please tell me what the signs are. :\

Vaginal yeast infection and vulvitis cause symptoms that are nonspecific, which means that aside from the yeast infection, other conditions can cause the identical symptoms. The most common symptom of a vaginal yeast infection is itching in the vaginal and/or vulvar area. Other symptoms of vaginal yeast infection and vulvitis include:
* burning,
* soreness,
* pain during intercourse and/or urination, and
* vaginal discharge. (Vaginal discharge is not always present, but when it occurs, the discharge is odorless and typically has a whitish, thick appearance and texture, like cottage cheese.)

I’m 11 DPO and i just found out a have a yeast infection, i’m 28yrs old and i have never had a yeast infection before, i’m not on any meds. could this be an early sign of pregnancy. i’m 11 days past ovulation today. anyone experience a yeast infection before they found out they were pregnant?

A yeast infection is not a sign of pregnancy. Many women are prone to different infections during pregnancy, such as a yeast or bladder infection. But these wouldn’t be considered signs.

I have a yeast infection. I am treating with Monistat. But before I used the medicine today, besides your normal signs, my mom told me that these symptoms are also of a yeast infection. Bloating, nausea, pukeing on long car rides or from the smell of coffee, spotting, and being really tired. I think these other symptoms are signs of pregnancy, not related to my yeast infection. What do you think?

You are right. The signs you mentioned are NOT signs of a yeast infection, those are itching, discharge, painful urination.
