Every now and then i get these blister bumps on the surface (where the pubic hair is) and it hurts sometimes. I’ve had these symptom’s before i’ve ever had sex. When i do have sex we always use protection. Could it be herpes or genital warts?

Sweetheart, it sounds to me like you have herpes. I’d definitely go the doctor and have that checked out. Herpes is very contagious and easily passed on through sexual intercourse, as condoms don’t protect the entire genital area.

While there is no known cure for herpes virus, there are effective treatments like valtrex.

Some folks estimate that 1 in 4 or 5 adults have herpes.

But hey, who knows… maybe it’s something else.

i was wondering what the signs are of a babies yeast infection. my baby had a high fever, and runny nose, but her urine also smells a little odd. does the urine change odor bc they have colds? and what are signs of a baby yeast or urinary track infection? thanks!

No the urine doesn’t change odor due to a cold. It could change due to dehydration though. If your child is under 6 months old with a high fever she should be seen by a doctor as soon as possible.

Does it start with full blown symptoms?

I am like yeast infection prone. Usually you will get an increase in discharge and you might feel a little raw down there. Then the discharge will get really thick and sorta look like cottage cheese. Yeah I know its gross! It will itch soooo bad that you just wanna take a brush down there and go at it. I wouldnt recomend doing that though. There are many reasons woman get yeast infections. Some antibiotics can cause them. You can also get them from too much sex and not rinsing soap off very well. The best thing you can do is go to the drug store and get Monistat one day. Its more expensive than the 7 or 3 day one but it will clear it up a lot faster. Also, for the itching you could use Vagisil. Personally, I am allergic to it but it is suppose to help with the itch. If it feels like it burns when you put it on dont use it. Keep everything clean and dont itch because it will cause infection to get worse and you can cause a skin infection as well. If all of this doesnt work for you, you can call your dr and he will perscribe you a nasty tasting pill. I hope I could help.

ive never had a yeast infection but currently have a slight itching, discomfort, and discharge. Also, it is uncomfortable to have sex. is it safe to use something like monostat if i have never been diagnosed with a yeast infection before? i read that first time "sufferers" should see a doctor first. thanks!
