Signs Of Yeast Infection Archives

Will it go away on it’s own?

Itchiness is common, but I’ve never had one like that- mine always just make sex really, really painful, like an irritated kind of pain…. Also there will be a thick, white discharge, sometimes, sorry if that’s TMI.

I always Monistat, the full 7 day treatment, the 3 day ones and 1 day ones never do it for me.

Hope this helps!

it burns and itches really bad down there, theres some yellow kind of colored discharge and a really bad odor. is that a yeast infection and if it is how can i get rid of it IMMEDIATELY please help

I agree with Red. It could be Yeast, but the yellow and the odor are typical signs of bacterial. Lab tests should easily be able to rule it out. Lately i have had a lot of yellowish discharge and it has a little bit of a scent but it does not itch at all. But i do have to pee alot. I was thinking it might be a yeast infection, any idea?

It can be. I had yellow discharge and no itching, no irritation, no clumpy discharge, so I went to the doctor. It ended up being a yeast infection, which completely surprised me, because I had them before and they were intolerable.

It can be other things, too. A change in discharge simply means something in not balanced properly.

I have tested neg for all std’s. just have redness very mild itching externally. when doc looked at smaple under microscope she said she seen yeast, but culture came back neg? how can this be?

I had an external yeast infection that responded to treatment, but the culture came back negative. I think it’s common for an external yeast infection to come back negative on a culture. It’s harder to collect a sample large enough to get a positive culture.

I went to the doctor’s and had my first pelvic exam and pap smear. It came back positive for yeast, but everything else was normal. I’ve never had a yeast infection and I’m showing no symptoms of it. Should I ignore the test result or treat it anyway?

your body always produces yeast, so it will be detected.
A yeast infection is when your body produced TOO MUCH and thats when you show symptoms. So some yeast is normal and if you dont have symptoms there should be no need to treat. If symptoms do occur then treat it.
