I DON’T HAVE A "SIMPLE VAGINAL YEAST INFECTION" AND IF YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT SYSTEMIC YEAST DO NOT ANSWER! I WILL DELETE.

Moving on..

I’ve had Systemic Yeast for 3 years now and lately the left frontal portion of my head/brain has been having sporadic bouts of mild pain. It’s mild pain and this has been going on for like 2 days now, today would be the third day.

I’m on the Candida Diet trying to help starve the yeast.

But my question is, how would you know when yeast spreads to your brain?

Is that why I’m having these weird feelings?

What should I do?

I’ve actually not heard of cases where Cadida is able to invade and form abcesses in the brain. Even with systemic candidiasis, it mostly affects the visceral organs such as kidneys, liver, lungs, etc. This doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen, and you’d need an MRI to confirm this. However, it seems very unlikely for that to be the case.

That being said, what are you using to treat the infection, and also, what is causing you to get systemic candidiasis? Did you get a transplant, on steroids, etc?

I have had a yeast infection for many years now. It has never gone away. I have been to regular doctors, gynecologists, and specialists that deal with systemic yeast infections. I still have this vaginal yeast infection. It is horrible to deal with. Is there anyone else out there that has had a vaginal yeast infection for years? This is very frustrating because I can’t get any answers from these doctors. I don’t have diabetes or a thyroid problem, and I do not have hiv. I was prescribed Diflucan, I took it straight for about 11 months. The average woman takes one dose, and the yeast infection goes away in about a week. Please give me some good advice as to what I should do in this situation.

i used to have yeast non stop for 4 yrs i would say i would have it every other month. Since the yeast is bacteria/parasites you need to use these things. They worked wonders for me. i have been free for 5 months.
1.) 1 body cleanse(take completely then start number 2
2.)2 bottles wormwood take back to back.
3.) 1 box of parastory.

-Most women dont know the foods we eat causes candida to rise in our bodys. And some women’s bodys cant tolorate it so the yeast growns everywhere. yea you cant feel it in your body like at all. But you can sure feel it in your private area.
After doing this get the pills called candex it helps with candida (also know as yeast).(1 big bottle and 1 small)

I have had a yeast infection for 3 entire years and it has never gone away. Lately I’ve been experiencing things like my skin being warm especially when I first wake up, and my eyes getting red and irritated for the slightest things (even when water gets into them). I know I have a yeast infection for sure and no over the counter meds work and yes I’ve been to a gyno but they don’t know what they’re doing and I DON’T have money for a natural doctor.

Can someone please help me?

I’m scared I might have a systemic yeast infection and I don’t want to die!!!!!

Please, serious answers only!

relax!!!

if you really want to get rid of yeast infection then you must follow these tips:

1) Eat yogurt!!!! It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.

2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.

3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.

4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent.

5) Try gentian violet. It’s a traditional remedy for yeast and other infections, and can be found in pharmacies. Swab the area with it once or twice a day. Make sure to use a thick pad – it stains everything.

6) Use an herbal douche. Combine equal amounts of sage, raspberry and comfrey with 1/4 part goldenseal. This can be combined with cider vinegar.

7) You must use herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!
And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly). For me it worked very fast + I dont get yeast infections anymore…

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Yeastrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.yeastrol.com/?aid=221781

good luck!

Working in women’s health – Gynecologist + personal experience

So I’m on inhaled steroids for the asthma…and swallowed steroids to help out…
I told my fam doc that the pills would give me another yeast infection…
He wanted to know why I didn’t fuss about the inhalers…I said I did…just not to you…

So am I right…is the yeast infection back if my tongue is black with a white paste and burning sensation?
I had 5 X the reg dose of diflucan…I forgot to mention it…

candida albicans infection of oral cavity[oral thrush] is a superinfection which can occur in those inhaling steroids.it is due to reduced local tissue resistance.
it gives appearence of milky white patches and spots—not black, as mentioned by you.it could be some other fungus.
you need a tongue scrapping tested for organisms[microscopy and culture]and suitable therapy.
gargling with warm water after each inhalation is a good practice. discuss with your doc.

I looked black tongue up on wikipedia and it is a type of fungus…
It’s different than Pepto tongue…which I have had. It’s blacker.
Kim, the pineapple cure was interesting. Thanks.

I found this site:

http://www.visualdxhealth.com/adult/hairyTongue.htm

I am struggling to lose my pregnancy weight gain. I am more disciplined and eating more healthily than I ever have in my life, and am exercising moderately ( and with 4 kids am definitely not doing a lot of sitting around). It seems like it takes me a week to lose half to one pound, which is fine with me, except that if I splurge a little on the weekend I can actually gain 3 pounds in one day! I know its not fat, but its so frustrating. I can lose the 3 pounds in a few days and then lose about half a pound more after that if I work real hard, but I feel like I’m playing chutes and ladders.
I have a minor yeast infection now, and I have had extreme fatigue upon waking up in the morning for a long time now. Also, my upper abdomen seems a little hard and distended- like its big, but not just from fat.
Could this be from a systemic yeast overgrowth? If it is, and I am still nursing, how should I fix it?
Also, I just took 150 of diflucan one time dose for the vag yeast infection, and i’m worried that it won’t help if i have a systemic overgrowth. should i ask the doc for more?
I am nursing around the clock- my baby is 5 months old, I’m still his only food.

Yes, it sounds like candida. And yes, candida can be a cause of overweight. Yeast is a living organism that feeds off certain nutrients, and it "gets hungry" for those nutrients, causing you to overeat certain foods, upsetting the natural balance in the intestines, and create cravings to feed the yeast.
Instead of using drugs, please google Candida diet, Healing Naturally by Bee. Her website is loaded with helpful info on ALL the problems caused by yeast and how to cure it.
This woman has cured candida with diet (yeast feeds on certain foods, and must be "starved out") She has helped thousands of people overcome horrible yeast problems when doctors and medicines fail to get rid of the underlying cause.
Her program will also help you lose the extra weight even faster.
She also has an online support group, and will personally answer any questions you have.

I have tried it, and without the strict diet that the other two answers recommend it won’t work. While on the diet you might also take garlic supplements, as that is supposed to boost your immune system and a weakened immune system is one reason for systemic candida. Also, you can buy acidophilus pills, but be sure to buy the refrigerated kind at health food stores and get them home to your refrigerator quickly. Acidophilus dies when it isn’t cold, so the unrefrigerated kind aren’t going to help at all.

I’ve been reading about it on the net, and all i can seem to find are diets that reduce what you’re eating basically to lettuce and fish. Are these just alternative type solutions? Can I go to the doctor and be prescribed medication to make it go away? I really think I will starve to death if I have to follow one of those diet things :/
