Yeast Free Diet Archives

I am looking for bread maker recipes that are yeast free? Thanks. or bread recipes that are wheat free. My boss is on a gluten free diet and his wife has a bread maker and was wanting some home made bread recipes. preferably yeast free, but any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
He is on a gluten free diet, but was told to keep yeast to a minimum as his Candida was high, that is what the natropath told him anyway.

Any quick bread can be adopted to work in a bread maker. That would include Irish soda Bread, banana bread….etc

Yes.

If you are trying to get rid of Candidas (yeast) in your body for medical reasons, then you go on the diet WITHOUT cheating for 4 weeks. You can then gradually eat sugars in fruits and such.

All breads will have yeast unless they are labeled yeast free.

Good luck! An overgrowth of yeast in the body is very unhealthy!!

Supermarkets such as Tesco do some yeast-free lines, you should check them out (usually in with the organic stuff).

I know this is a very specific random question that many people might not know but does anyone know if ‘Smart Balance Organic Whipped Buttery Spread (fake butter)’ has any yeast in it? or sugar?

Or just any fake butter in general if you know.

Thanks!

I have been on a yeast free diet for a while, too. If you are on the diet in order to manage your candida overgrowth, I would suggest simply eating unsalted butter, so long as it is in small amounts. Most plain dairy has nothing in it that can make your candida problem worse, and yogurt (plain), in fact, can even play a positive role.

Hi you guys, I recently found out that I’m allergic to yeast… I have been a vegan for years. Now, I am totally confused about what I should/shouldn’t eat. I have had different websites tell me different things. Someone please help?! What can a vegan (who’s allergic to yeast) eat?

The only thing your going to have trouble with is getting your B12 since many vegans get their B12 from brewers yeast. You could take B12 supplements. You may want to look into doing a raw food diet, since it will get you away from most products that contain yeast like breads.

Could you please give me some tips on what’s good to eat please.
I have to stop yeast due to yeast overgrowth.
I’m 8st 6 so things to make me lose weight arent a good idea thanks xx

Protozoans (infusoria) eat yeast! It’s not so much abstaining from yeast, but controlling the overgrowth. Even fruit have yeast, bread, beer, vegetables. Any yeast already in your system will thrive and grow on sugar and some forms of starch…so abstaining cannot be the solution. (Giving sugar to an alcoholic without some kind of protozoans is doing them a disservice, as yeast produces alcohol from sugar.) The answer is in the foods that contain protozoans: lettuce, lettuce, and lettuce! Watery, fresh greens are the best source. Avoid alcohol, heavily acidic foods and sauces, excessive hot sauce, and hot peppers, as they can poison and kill protozoans. Most people don’t realize that yeast is many times the culprit responsible for obesity and constipation, and poor digestion due to intestinal sludging and blockage. Acid reflux (heartburn) from indigestion caused by excessive yeast is also more of a problem than most people think.
NO WONDER my mom made me eat salad every day.
Just a side salad with your regular meal, not a vegan diet.
I find it more helpful to eat the salad after the meal, rather than before, as strong stomach acids of an empty stomach also kill the protozoans before they can get past the stomach and into the intestines, where they are most needed. Stomach acids don’t affect the yeast, and neither does small amounts of alcohol.
Hope this makes you feel better!

I’ve got the alcohol, fruit juice, sour dough, fruit, vegemite and vinegar covered. Is there anything else to avoid?

Avoid meat with stuffing. Grilled meat without gravy, plain boiled or steamed vegetables, plain grilled fish and omelettes are the safest. Fruit desserts are best avoided and so, of course, is cheese and biscuits.

Make whole-wheat soda bread and scones at home. Use a raising powder that does not contain cream of tartar. Rye crispbreads can be eaten instead of bread, also whole-wheat breakfast cereals such as Shredded Wheat and Puffed Wheat and rice. (Omit the cereals if they cannot be tolerated.) Increase the amount of vegetables eaten. All fruit eaten should be thoroughly washed first, dried and then peeled and eaten immediately. Keep the peel well away from the flesh of the fruit or you may contaminate it with yeast. Make oil/lemon dressings for salads with fresh lemon juice.

if I go on this diet it will help. Any suggestions?

You can always eat fresh fruit and vegetables. However, don’t eat citrus fruits (oranges, grapefruits etc).

i’m on a yeast free diet =o( …..tasty recipes are welcome!

Anybody know any good food list so that I and my family can get started on this type of diet? My son has autism and he needs to try this diet and I have no idea where to start. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance for your help God Bless You!
I have seen taca (I think was what it was called) web site are there any better list?

The gluten free diet is primarily used for those with allergies and Celiac Disease but the Gluten Free/Caesin Free (GFCF) diet has proved very helpful for children with autism. My experience is in only GF but MANY GF products are also inherently CF bc many celiacs have dairy intolerances and more and more GF companies realize how the diet helps autistic chidlren so they make their products with no milk.

Then try these sites and cookbooks:

(most gluten free cookbooks will also offer suggestions on how to chagne the recipe to CF bc many Celiacs do not tolerate dairy well.)

These are my fave toddler friendly GF foods, most are CF but I cannot verify from memory:

Kinninnick bread products
Glutino products, cereals, bars, pizzas (not sure if any pizzas are CF), cookies, breads
Bobs Red Mill flours
Pamela’s Products, cookies, mixes, YUMMY cake and choc mix. All Dairy Free with alternative cooking suggestions for other allergens on the bag.

Best online shopping sites:
www.glutenfree.com
www.glutensolutions.com
www.kinninnick.com
(most GF shopping sites also break down what other common allergens are in the foods)

Goodl uck!
