Yeast Infection Cause Archives

I have a yeast infection and a bladder infection! My period was due around last week, but that’s also when both of my infections had started. (The bladder infection could have started earlier.) I heard that a yeast infection usually doesn’t delay your period, but what about both of them combined?

I’m taking medication for both of them now as well.

I was always told that too. That a yeast infection never delays a period and blah blah blah blah.

Ok, I’ve had about 4-5 if not more yeast infections and EVERY TIME it has delayed my period. I’m pretty convinced it does.

me and my partner have been having sex with a dildo, i wanted to know if it causes yeast infections?

Only stuff that changes the acidity of the vagina(eg. douching) or something that affects your immune system would cause a yeast infection. As long as it is cleaned before and after use it should be fine. Also don’t use the dildo in your vagina after you use it in your anus without washing it first as this is unhealthy for your vagina.

im only 19 and never had a yeast infection before.i was suppose to start febuary 11 but still never started.i done three pregnancy test in the first week of being late and all said negitive. i dont think im pregnant though becuase i have no sytphoms at all. i dont really know much about a yeast infection either.recently i am all the time having discharge and it is mostly clear.can a yeast infection cause you to be late

if you still havent had your period, you need to take another pregnancy test.

I have been on a Yeast-free diet combined with the Ultra Simple diet for one week (due to joint pains and hives from candida). On day 7 I woke up with a vaginal yeast infection. I have read that the dying yeast can cause fatigue, muscle aches and nausea to name a few…but nothing about yeast infections. I just want to know if this is going to keep recurring if I continue on this diet.

If you are simply not eating yeast, it should not affect you much. In fact, it should affect you so little that I’m not sure it would do anything at all. I scoff at the idea of a "dying yeast" problem, since bakers’/brewers’ yeast is a good source of B vitamins, and they have to die before you can extract the vitamins from them. Your body digests dying yeast as it does so many other things. The main causes of vaginal yeast infections are anything that upsets the acidity/alkalinity of the vaginal environment and antibiotics. Natural bacteria and natural yeasts co-exist in our environment and in a moist, nutrient-rich environment like the vagina hold each other at bay. You would do far better to look into probiotics, which enhances beneficial bacteria.

I was recently diagnosed with Chamalydia, Im married and very faithful confronted my husband and he assured me that he has been faithful and do believe him. I have had BV and Yeast Infections that has gone untreated for long period of time. Please Help!! Serious Answers only!!

No but untreated Chlamydia can cause infertility and Pelvic inflamatory disease.

Im so sorry, but your husband is a liar.

Does masturbating cause yeast infection. Like i do it 3 times a day..everyday… but i dont insert my fingers i just rub against something… and sometimes it smells like fish but just temporarily cuz i shower twice a day and it does not smel as bad…i also feel like constanly wanting to use the bathroom…. is that normal?

No, masturbating does not cause yeast infections. Yeast infection are caused by:

I have took a pregnancy test 3 weeks ago. but it also followed with yeast infection so could it give me a false positive?

there is no such thing as false positive its either negative or positive and no a yeast infection will not do that

I had a vaginal yeast infection and my gyn gave me Fluconazole for it. I started getting little white spots on my throat about the same time I got my yeast infection can my vaginal yeast infection have caused them?

It sounds like thrush, are the spots occurring on the tongue as well? Do you have any other symptoms besides the vaginal yeast infection?

Make sure not to let this get out of hand, because it seems like it may be spreading through your system. I would begin to notice any other symptoms that seem unusual, you can take online Candida and Yeast Infection Tests as well to determine if you are indeed developing a systemic Candida infection.

I ask because the two people I have had sex with said they went and got checked and received negative for STD’s.

Symptoms may vary from very mild to severe and include:

burning of the vagina
burning when urinating
discomfort during or after sexual intercourse
odor (not unpleasant)
irritation of the vagina
itching and burning of the female genitals (vulva)
itching of the vagina
painful urination
painful intercourse
vulva redness and swelling

Vaginal discharge is not always present and may be minimal, but when present may be:

cottage-cheese-like in nature
thick, whitish-gray discharge
watery to thick in consistency
Women who have chronic or recurring yeast infections may need to be treated with vaginal creams for extended periods of time

I have white discharge. i have been noticing this for the lats 3 days. it doesnt hurt or itch. it doesnt hurt when i pee either. but my periods are 3 days late. my partner always uses a condom though. and i tester negative for pregnancy twice. could this be a yeast infection? or could i be pregnant? please suggest. also, does an yeast infection cause you to not get your periods for that month? could this be the reason y i havnt got my periods yet?

No.
I used to get them all the time, because i was allergic to soap. It doesn’t affect your period.
