Can a YI cured without medicines but just home remedies? if so, what are the home remedies to follow?

If you think your pregnant, and have a yeast infection you need to see your ob doctor….it could be another more dangerous kind of bacterial or strep infection that left untreated could harm the baby.

I’ve been very itchy and my uterus cramp on and off also I have a dull pain in my uterus as well. It might be a bad infection becuase it always feels better after my period but now I’m going to doc’s tomorrow.

I have a yeast infection (for about 6 days now) and as of tonight I have noticed flesh colored bumps with no puss inside the opening of my vagina. I am not sexually active so I do not think it is from a STD, could this be a result of the yeast infection since I am quite swollen and was previously on strong antibiotics from an illness? I am going to the doctor tomorrow but this is really bothering me!!

A yeast infect. can cause redness, soreness, and itching. You will also have a cottage cheese looking discharge, it is thick and will be on the skin down there. Antibiotics will give you a yeast infection and your doctor should have given you medicine for it when he/she gave you the antibiotics, if not you need to always tell them you need something every time you take them. I always get yeast from the antibiotics myself and if i forget to tell my doctor then i have to buy something over the counter for it, it cost about the same anyway but, the pill the doc can give you for yeast is much better ,I think ! you can take it while on antibiotics so you you want get yeast ! The bumps you see may just be normal on the skin there and they look red and swollen from the yeast infec. I wouldn’t worry much about it sense you know you couldn’t have an S.T.D. sense you don’t have sexual relations! But if you have ever had sex with anyone then you might be concerned. Still your doctor will help you more about this so, don’t worry about it sense you will be seeing someone real soon!! Then you will feel better. I bet its nothing anyway, just the yeast. so good luck to ya! hope you feel better!

I’m 37 weeks and have a wicked yeast infection (going out to get some monastat in a little bit), but when I last went to the bathroom I noticed a little bit of blood in my discharge (which is yellowish green). It wasn’t a lot, just enough to notice. Anyone had this happen?
Sorry if tmi

The Short Answer: Yes, it can.

An untreated yeast infection can develop root-like structures called rhizomes which are capable of penetrating tissue and entering the blood stream.

I am not a doctor, but in my opinion since you described what I imagine is a pinkish, instead of the typical yellow-green discharge that this condition may have already set in.

Unfortunately, many of the creams and pills that can be obtained from your doctor or a pharmacy will only temporarily mask the problem, but not cure it.

Congratulations on your baby! Best of luck.

I recently had a UTI and I was left with a yeast infection from the antibiotics.

Can I still become pregnant if I have an yeast infection?

Also, I was wondering everytime I have sex with a certain male the next morning I have a thick gluey discharge. Does anyone know what this may be?

1. An ordinary yeast infection cannot cause infertility. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t treat it, as it is communicable and unpleasant. Your doctor can prescribe diflucan, or you can take an over-the-counter medication like Monistat which should clear it up in a few days.

2. Yes you can still get pregnant if you have a yeast infection. You are also more vulnerable to STDs, as your vagina is irritated and susceptible to tearing.

3. Are you not using a condom? It could be semen, or it could be that you are ovulating (thick gluey discharge is classic ovulation mucus). If you’re concerned, you need to see a doctor for this one, since internet diagnosis is notoriously unreliable.

I had a prolonged yeast infection as a teenager that I was able to get cleared up after a long time of suffering. Now I’m in my late 20′s and I’m wondering if I am fertile. I have not tried to get pregnant yet and I am on birth control. I asked my doctor about fertility testing but she said I would have to try to get pregnant and fail first before undergoing fertility tests. I would like to stop taking birth control if I’m not fertile. Can anyone offer any advice?

my doctor told me the more infections you have down there can cause infertility but i’m 15 wk pregnant and is 19 and a year before i got pregnant i’ve had 4 UTI’s within a year in a half and within that year i had 2 bacterial infections and one of those bacterial infections i had for year i knew i had it but my dumb doctor i had told me i didnt so i switched doctors and they said i did and i ended up prego 2 months later…

I’m 9 weeks pregnant and started having some extremely light pink spotting the day after I started using Nystatin to treat a yeast infection. The Nystatin was prescribed by OBYN. I’m still treating the infection and I continue small pink spots in my underwear when I wake up in the morning. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

Well i’m not sure, but if it turns to blood go to your dr.

my girlfriend and i think she has a yeast infection but arent sure. she had the nasty discharge and chunky stuff. It is her first and we did try that over the night monistat stuff. now the discharge is gone along with the chunky stuff but there are a few sores that still remain. Does this sound like herpes or just a bad case of a yeast infection?

If she responded to the monistat, I think it might have been caused by the yeast infection. The first time I got a yeast infection, I was so freaked out because I didn’t know what it was and every time I went to pee, I wiped and wiped until I didn’t see the chunky stuff. I wasn’t like a sore it was just like reddish pink, like I had irritated it. If they go away by tomorrow then you shouldn’t worry about it.

like can it cause him to get a disease
also if i have a urinary infection too..
what can happen to him?

he wont get an std but he might get a yeast infection.
