Eating yoghurt.
Drinking buttermilk daily is supposed to stop them from even happening.
You can also use apple cider vinegar and daub the infected area with it, and use garlic to stop the itching. I swear!
ladies, i have a yeast infection, and i was wondering if you have any tips, hints, or home remedies that work for you or help you out. i haven’t tried garlic but i’ve heard of it and i have NO gauze pads, would tampons work? please.
You can try eat yogurt, plenty of it, stop eating sugar, and eat garlic, raw one. If you have minor yeast infection it will go away with otc medicines. But, most of the times if your immune system is weak it will come back. The drugs from the otc just treat it locally, but not the cause of yeast infection. Everybody has yeast in our body nowadays, it just depends in which one is develops mostly.Antibiotics are the main cause of yeast overgrow.
due to pregnancy hormones i have a terrible yeast infection, my doc has already given me Diflucan, but i need something to help the itching and burning ( possibly something we have in our every day house) if i have to go to the drugstore today i will, any suggestions what will work just for the symptoms, please i’m in agony over these damn womens yeast infections.
omg, Yogurt is to be EATEN, not smeared on your vagina! Some people should just be quiet.
Anyways, eat lots of yogurt. DO NOT DOUCHE! It will just make it take longer.
i found this and i want to know if it works:
the censored word is v@gina
Stay away from deodorant sanitary pads and tampons, sprays such
as deos, perfumes, bubble baths, coloured toilet papers that
could cause irritation to the *GRAB*l tissues
Take a tampon and dip it into yoghurt. Insert in the *GRAB* at
least twice a day and continue a day or two more after your
symptoms have gone away.
Few drops of tea tree oil poured on tampon and inserted in the
*GRAB*, provides relief.
Eat plenty of foods that are high in vitamin C, such as
potatoes, citrus fruits and broccoli.
Fill a bathtub with warm water enough to cover the affected
area. Add ½ cup or so salt, enough to make the water really
salty and ½ cup vinegar. Immerse your self into the bath tub
for approx 20 – 30 minutes. This is easy cleansing solution for
your *GRAB*l are
is this ok to do? will it through off the pH in any way?
thank you!!!!
Mix olive leaf extract, grapefruit seed extract in a glass of
water. This is a good curative tonic for this infection.

Mix 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in 2 cups of water with 1
clove of garlic. Let it stand for sometime and use it for
douching.
Insert 1 or 2 boric acid capsules in the *GRAB*, keeping it
overnight for several days. Boric acid may cause burning and
discomfort, but will also bring relief.

Hydrogen Peroxide – DILUTED! Worked for me. 1 part to 10 parts dilution. Some people say, don’t douche. Some people say to take acidophilus. The best bet is Monistat 1 day treatment or 3 day treatment. Research the Hydrogen Peroxide before doing. Just because it works for me, doesn’t mean it will work for you. The vagina naturally produces hydrogen peroxide… interesting. Google it, it’s good info!
i’ve never had one before but think i may have one now. just today i started to have symptoms and it’s driving me CRAZY. the itching and burning and raw feeling is BEYOND irritating! ANY ADVICE just to get me through until the doctor’s office opens Monday?
it’s not an STD. i am POSITIVE of that!
yogurt… eat it, to help your insides, and take a little container (the live non flavored unsugared kind) get some tissue or cotton balls, and smear this all over the genital area.. It has a cooling effect and the live cultures in yogurt helps to balance out the yeast count down there.. Also drink cranberry juice. Do not eat anymore sugar for the weekend. thats what feeds the yeast, sugar.. so cut out all sodas, and sweets.. and carbohydrates, like french fries. potatoes and corn, pasta.. anything with high sugar count, or makes sugar in your body.. Also try to keep that area as dry as possible.. Use a sanitary napkin to soak up any sweat.. Wash well and dry well.. .. Another help is baby diaper rash cream.. the zinc oxide stuff, it look like white toothpaste.. that can help also (after all diaper rash is nothing more than a yeast infection on babies bottoms) .. goodluck!..
Acidophilus. Not sure if I spelled that right. You can get it from the healthfood store. Also aloe vera is helpful. They both help to maintain the ph balance. Both of these can help, but not cure a yeast infection. You can get medication over the counter. I’d use the medication first & the herbals as a preventative measure. Also, watch your intake of sugar.
Yogurt contains probiotics (active cultures). Why not take a good probiotic which would contain COSIDERABLY more probiotics and restore the proper balance of living microbes in your system?
I have a yeast infection and the doctor gave me a prescription. But I want to know if there are any home remedies to ease my discomfort.
First of all, some of the answers I’m getting are mildly offensive….I got this infection from the antibiotics I was taking for strep throat…so don’t judge me. Thank you.
Yogurt might help…
But if you can, go to a store that sells herbs and buy one or both things…
1) Bifidofolus
2) Yeast killer (different names for it)
These things are natural and works fast!
Best wishes!
