could it be? My baby never had a rash since he was born and now that he is one he’s got one for a couple of days. I’ve try desitin but it’s not working very good…. he’s got redness and a bunch of small little bumps like insect bites right on hius buddy….could this be what they call a baby boy yeast infection???? or not???? and how can i treat it???

It does sound like a yeast infection. My son had one when he was a baby and the doctor recommended Lotrimin AF.

my 1-year-old child broke out in a rash and the doc. says it was a yeast infection, and gave him meds. but its getting worse every day. i surfed the net and couldnt find out anything about it, the rashes look alot like he was burned.

It can happen, but it’s unusual. If your doctor diagnosed it and treated it, and it’s not getting better, then you should have it checked again. You may want to ask for a referral to a specialist.

my 11 month old daughter has a rash on her privates that is red and bumpy. is that diaper rash or yeast infection. she has never had a diaper rash with bumps till now.

Sounds like yeast to me. Are they kind of circular? If so, you can just buy some Lotromin and apply it a couple of times a day to the area. I did that and her yeast cleared right up.
