Yeast Infection Remedy Archives

I think I read somewhere that probiotics can cure and prevent yeast infections? Is this true? I have some at home called Primal Defense Ultra from Garden of Life. I bought em recently to help with some digestive issues. I haven’t started to take them yet, but was wondering if anyone knows if probiotics actually cure and/or prevent yeast infections.

Kevin Trudeau’s Book called Natural Cures they Dont Want You To Know About addresses this issue, but off the top of my head, I dont have another answer for you.

Ive heard yogurt helps. Do you eat it, rub it down there, or both. Ive heard all three answers and want a real one. :D thanks! and does the yogurt stop the itching? if not what home remedys and give me instructions please. THANK U SO MUCH

i DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOGURT, BUT USE SUMMER’S EVES WiPES AND POWDER, PLUS GET A VAGiNAL ANTiFUNGAL CREAM. USE ALL THREE 1x A DAY. BATHE WiTH 10 TABLESPOONS OF BAKiNG SODA iN THE WATER.

I am sure i have a yeast infection but unable to get treatment from the pharmacy until friday so i need to know if there are any good home remedies i could use to relieve the itching

Eat cultured products such as yogurt, soak a tampon in buttermilk and insert it normally as if you were having a period,,, do this about every 4 hours during your waking hours and yes you can even sleep with one. This is what the health department reccommended for me and it works great… 30 years later and Im still using it with good results,, I always use this after antibiotic treatments.

What works the best? Fastest?

this may seem silly but dip a tampon in yogurt and put it in at night and leave there all night. when you wake up remove it.

I have been on antibiotics and I think I may have one. I tried Monistat a long time ago and it burned me so bad I’m afraid to use it again. Is their anything else that will help that won’t burn so bad? Thanks.

Diflucan pill you have to get a prescription from your Doc. You take one pill and it gets rid of yeast however you could also have what is called bacterial vaginosis which requires you to have an exam dwon there by a Doc and then treated with a different medication
next time you take antibiotics take acidophilus and bifidus

I don’t have insurance, and I really need something that works.

Natural Yogurt. It’s regarded as the best home remedy because it replaces the bad bacteria that caused yeast infection to a good bacteria. You can add a small amount of garlic in the affected area.

You can also use Apple Cider vinegar , take an unscented cotton ball soaked in apple cider vinegar and dab it on the affected areas.

Hope this helps :)

If you’re 5 months pregnant, come down with a yeast infection, what would be a quick relief remedy for the pain and itch, and swelling?

Vigisil. Get it at a drug store in the feminine section

I’ve heard cranberry juice can actually help prevent yeast infections, but is actually used to help cure urinary infections. My doctor told me that eating yogurt can help a yeast infection, but doesn’t always cure it. I guess it’s worth a shot to try it though. Someone also told me once that hydrogen peroxide will kill yeast and help flush it out of your body, but I never tried it as you aren’t supposed to doushe while you have an infection as it could make it worse. I’d try the yogurt but in the end, you may end up spending as much on yogurt as you would a $15 or less tube of cream to cure the problem.

i haven’t been to the docs yet but im pretty sure i have a yeast infection.
how would i be able to cure this without going to the doctor and without sticking anything in my vajayja?
please help!

I don’t know of any "home remedies", but OTC Monistat will work if it truly is a yeast infection.

Get the 3 night pack. The 1 day is too short and the 5 day is waay too long.

I know it’s gross to stick those little cream suppositories in your vagina, but that’s probably what the doctor will prescribe anyway… And you know why? Because it works!

i can’t afford to go to the doctor but i do believe i have a yeast infection. How can i get rid of this at home?

Drink water, good hygiene, eat yogurt, and any over the counter cream like monastat 7 (can be found at any drug store). and wipe from front to back!
