I’ve suffered from chronic sinus infections for years. I’ve been put on every allergy medicine, antibiotic, and I have diligently used humidifiers and saline rinses but they keep coming back. I’ve even gone to an ENT so I know I don’t have nasal polyps. My issue is that I have a weird symptom that doctors have so far been pretty unhelpful with explaining. Occasionally, I sneeze or cough out these small things that look/feel EXACTLY like couscous but smell awful. I know this is caused by post nasal drip, but I’m wondering if there is anyone out there who has experienced this? Its the grossest thing in the world, but I’m getting frustrated b/c so far nothing has worked to cure me of this sinusitis. The headaches in the center of my forehead can often be debilitating. I am taking Ibuprofen everyday to help with the inflammation, I am now trying Fivelac to see if this is a yeast issue and am also using Astelin nasal spray, and taking Fexofenadine. PLEASE HELP! I’m desperate to find a cure
I would consider maybe? Hystamine is causing your problems. Not hystamine medication but your body having too much hystamine. Causes headaches like sinus infections and chronic running nose and pretty much what you are describing.
Ask your doc to do a 24hour urine test for hystamine.
