Yeast Infection, std, something worse?
(this is really embarrassing for me, so please don’t say anything inappropriate) I have had this…yellow discharge(it started out white then it got yellow. Somtimes it is white or gray, or clear and it dries yellow.), and it sometimes i itch down there, but not often. Though when it does itch, it can get pretty bad. I’ve never had sex, except for this one time when i was little(i think i was around 7 or 8. At the oldest 9) one of my neighbors took advantage of me. It doesn’t have an awful odor, it does have some of an odor, but it’s not strong enough for anyone to notice it. That is all the symptoms that i know of. What is it?

haven’t tried.. just read about ….?
i had read in a fertility book that the only lubricant, other than natural, that helps the sperm is baby oil.
i’m a bit leary about that.
i’ve talked to 2 people who tried it, and have had successful pregnanies.
they hadn’t gotten yeast infections or uti’s from it.
i just need a broader range of answers.

I think I would be leary too. I just researched it for you and apparently there’s some type of lubricant that is safe. It’s called Pre-seed. Try preseed.com. Also, the bacteria in saliva is not good for sperm so I guess oral sex while trying to conceive is out… idreamofbaby.com. I also looked on babycenter.com under fertility and lubricants. Don’t try baby oil.

Never ending yeast infection, HELP!!!?
Ok, so for 1 year and 3 months now, I have had a reocurring yeast infection once a month. It is very painfull and aggravating to the point where I feel I am a lost case. Ive been to the gynecologist and he has given me diflucan and terconazole, whick is all precribed medication. It works for about 3 to 4 weeks and then It comes back again. Hes done a pap smear and it says that it IS a yeast infection. I am also a type 1 diabetic and i know it has a lot to do with it, but i cant tolerate having this every month. Ive even tried 3 different types of herbal pills names candistroy, candida detox, and i cant remember the name of the last one but they dont work. Is there anyone out there who has gone trhough this and if they have, do they know of any cure or pill that can get rid of this?? Please someone out there who can relate, I need some words of wisdom. It could be related to your diet, and you must cut out ALL sugars! Yeast thrives on sugar. Cut out all refined carbs too.
No processed foods. No fruit juices, no honey, they contain too many sugars. read the labels, if it says sugar, glucose, corn syrup, you cannot have it. Stick to unprocessed foods, pref. organic. complex carbs are fine. have no more than 2 fresh fruits a day. It will make a huge difference, but it wil take a few weeks Discuss this with the doctor who treats your diabetes, as your insulin may have to be adjusted. I seem to be having yeast infection constantly.?
I get a yeast infection every 2-3 weeks, that’s about 20 infections a year. I am allergic to difflucan, so it makes it hard to treat. If you are having sex with a partner, boyfriend, or husband. He too probably is infected. You should both be treated for this. If one of you is not, you will just be giving the infection back and forth, regardless of what medication you are taking.
