What home remedies have you used to cure a male yeast infection?

Help me out guys. Im in no real pain, but the irritation is really horrible. I am barely able to work.

if you really want to get rid of yeast infection then you must follow these tips:

1) Eat yogurt!!!! It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.

2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.

3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.

4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent.

5) Try gentian violet. It’s a traditional remedy for yeast and other infections, and can be found in pharmacies. Swab the area with it once or twice a day. Make sure to use a thick pad – it stains everything.

6) Use an herbal douche. Combine equal amounts of sage, raspberry and comfrey with 1/4 part goldenseal. This can be combined with cider vinegar.

7) You must use herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!
And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly). For me it worked very fast + I dont get yeast infections anymore…

Is this a Yeast Infection?

i am in my second trimester of being pregnant and earlier this week i had gone to the doctors for a sore throat he said i had strep and prescribed me some antibiotics. A couple days later my inner vaginal lips and clitoral area started to itch like crazy. I then found out that i didnt have strep but i had mono. Anyway…My clitoris area itches quite badly and is starting to sting now and the lips are inflammed and swollen. (probably from the itching) i am just curious to if this is a yeast infection, i dont have any different kind of discharge and no smell, just severe itching and slight burning.

Sounds like the skin reactions that I was having two to three years ago right after I poisoned my liver from too much and too many toxic micro-nutritional supplements for too long. After I began using too much of a thin petrolatum based skin cream I eventually checked into the ER one morning due to my ‘severely’ swollen lymph glands that made me think I might have contracted lymphoma. So only use med creams that are prescribed in a very-minimal way over a thin layer of wash water, so that one’s immune system and skin/ organs can repair and grow stronger ‘naturally’ without also poisoning one’s liver further.

Since when I was an asthmatic teen and learned I would have severe reactions when I ‘accidentally’ inhaled or used ‘any’ deodorants, and could not eat cinnamon stuff without having an anaphylactic reaction – because cinnamon has some toxins that are strong enough to substitute for pesticides, my life long triggers have taught me to use hypo-allergenic non-perfumed soaps in a minimal way and to sometimes powder different portions of my body with cornstarch to help minimize yeast infections; especially whenever my micro-nutritional absorption within my gut has been less than was ‘necessary’ to ‘adequately’ repair my body’s immune system, organs, and skin on a daily basis.

A CURE to this problem?

i have recurrent yeast infections, that are smelly and uncomfterable. I don’t know why the cremes prescribed by the gyn. are not effective, and never get rid of this problem. The smell is not noticed by me but I can tell other people snicker behind my back. Although [only] in one of my classes I smell something kind of indescribable, like a cheesy smell.

I just had a baby 2 months ago via cesarean section, and this problem has been ongoing for several months I think through-out the whole 9 months plus these 2 other months.

whats’s the ULTIMATE cure? Should I trust these online “herbal” medications?
I also use azo 3 x a day everyday along with acidophillus 2 x a day

I get yeast infections if I use certain soaps – I now only use summers eve feminie wash for sensitive skin. I dont wear died panties (wear only white crotch panties) or If I take antibiotics. AZO now makes a yeast supplement. I bought it at walmart for about $6 I have been on antibiotics for the last 5 days and have not gotten one yet. You can take the pill along with the cream and then continue the pill for a prevention. Also I would eat yogurt but, make sure it says live cultures. These are things that combat the infection.

What are some home remedies for a yeast infection that are guarenteed to work?

I would never recommend that. Unless a doctor tells you so, in some cases that can make the symptoms worse.

Now if you wanna do some preventive measures for yeast infection, here’s the FF

1. Wear clean cotton undies
2. Drink lots of liquid, less soda and lessen the sweets
3. Try wearing unscented pantiliners and change clean undies often at least 2 x a day
4. Do NOT DOUCHE unless a doctor tells you so. You may want to ask your doc for a better feminine wash for you to use.
5. Eat lots of yougurt ( the real type) or drink Yakult ( Lactobacilli is your tummy and vagina’s good vitamins)
6. Dont wear tight fitting pants, shorts or underwear. Infact stick to cotton undies

And see your gynocologist for proper treatment

My poor baby!! Yeast infection treatments?

My poor little 17 month old had RSV last week which led to her developing an ear infection. Today I see that she has developed a yeast infection, probably because antibiotics often kill the good bacteria living down there.

I feel so bad that she is going through all of this at once! I had yeast infections as a child and my mom swears that plain yogurt is a miracle cure. I’m going to buy some tomorrow. Do you know of any good treatments for yeast infections? This is her first one… thanks! She has a follow up appointment next week to make sure that she has recovered from her RSV and ear infection. I’m confident that I can handle the yeast infection just fine, but obviously if it gets worse we’ll go straight to the doctor.
And I mean applying the yogurt to her vaginal area, not eating it… lol… just clarifying.
Well she does eat yogurt everyday. But applying it vaginally is a common treatment that helps to balance out the bacteria down there.

My son’s former pediatrician, I called her the wonder doctor (sadly, she moved away), used to tell me to use monistat to treat severe diaper rash. Maybe using it for its intended purpose, even on a baby, is also fine. Ask her doctor just to make sure. The poor little darlin’…good luck!

Can I use shredded garlic instead of a clove for a yeast infection?

I only have the shredded garlic in the glass tub to treat it. I have a yeast infection and Im too embarresed to ask my dad to buy me over the counter treatment. Any home remedies I could use for a quick cure? Would the shredded stuff still work if I just smeared it on my vagina?

I have some in-expensive, 100% Safe and Natural Treatments you can try. Most importantly they work better than drugs because they help your body fight the infection off, working in synergy.

There are many things you need to start doing and addressing if you are suffering from a yeast infection. To start, do the following:

1. Cut out any and all sugar, alcohol and yeast from your diet. All three will promote the infection further.

2. Get some unsweetened yogurt and rub it onto a tampon, insert the tampon and do this continually until the yeast infection is gone.

3. Wear loose clothing and undergarments, oxygen kills yeast, going commando and wearing nothing down there if possible is even better.

4. Take a probiotic with at least 50 billion live cells per pill, this is key in redistributing good bacteria throughout your body, and effectively end the yeast infection. You must do this continually until you have eliminated your yeast infections and Candida entirely.

5. If you can tolerate it, use a raw garlic clove and apply it to the infection, this may burn so dilute it with some olive or coconut oil, both of which can also help eliminate the yeast, especially the coconut.

yes the yougurt works as well a clove of garlic. You get a needle and thread and thread the needle through the clove of garlic and make a string like a tampon. You would insert the garlic in just like a tampon and leave over night, do that for 5-7 days. Use the yougurt too, it really helps the itching

Persistant reocurring yeast infection?

Hi everyone if someone could plz help me id be really grateful… so for a few months now i got a really really bad yeast infection, so bad i think it spread to the bum (gross i know ) and ive tried everything! ive taken diflucan once, then for 7 days in a row…. ive tried every over the counter monostat/conseten product… now im on a gross probiotic diet with oregano oil and garlic pills, and its still now working!!! if anyone knows a herbal/medical treatment id really be grateful… im only 20 and this is really depressing!
ps im sure its a yeast infection because of the smell, itch, and white discharge… and i did go to a doctor months ago as well…
