yeast infection again
When can i start having sex again after a 3day yeast infection treatment?

If your yeast infection is completely gone you can have sex right away. The only time you shouldn’t is during the yeast infection itself because you can give it to your partner as well… to make sure i’d give it a week since the remnants could still be around

do you know how you got the infection?
- a lot of yeast infections come from having glycerin/suger in lube (yeast feeds off it)
- others come from water being left in the genital area too long or poor hygeine

have any questions i can help

Sorry if too much info, but I am currently 4 weeks pregnant and I have this HORRIBLE yeast infection. Is it safe to use over the counter creams for yeast infections this early in pregnancy? Thank you!!!

What are some home remedies for a yeast infection that are guarenteed to work?

I’ve heard of the one where you use vinegar and water, but how exactly…? And does it burn? What are some simple methods that work quickly? Will it actually TREAT the yeast infection, or just get rid of the symptoms? Thanks!

Ohhh you are talking about Douching

I would never recommend that. Unless a doctor tells you so, in some cases that can make the symptoms worse.

Now if you wanna do some preventive measures for yeast infection, here’s the FF

1. Wear clean cotton undies
2. Drink lots of liquid, less soda and lessen the sweets
3. Try wearing unscented pantiliners and change clean undies often at least 2 x a day
4. Do NOT DOUCHE unless a doctor tells you so. You may want to ask your doc for a better feminine wash for you to use.
5. Eat lots of yougurt ( the real type) or drink Yakult ( Lactobacilli is your tummy and vagina’s good vitamins)
6. Dont wear tight fitting pants, shorts or underwear. Infact stick to cotton undies

And see your gynocologist for proper treatment

Can you get a copper IUD during a yeast infection?

I ask because I have had a recurring yeast infection for 2 years that has been treated with every treatment there is, to my knowledge. I would like to get the copper IUD, but I read you can’t get it during vaginal or cervical infections, but a nurse at the doctor’s office told me she doesn’t think yeast infections count as a contraindication. Does anyone know the answer to my question? Thanks in advance.
Dolly- I’ve tried fluconazole. Came right back.
Krusti- take cranberry pills as directed on the bottle (some are more concentrated that others) for atleast 2 days after you have sex, and drink lots of fluids when taking them.
Dr. Doly – Would a doctor refuse to insert an iud if I have a yeast infection?

all vaginal infections could create problems while having IUD – better treat it before inserting the IUD – discover more below

Natural Cure for Yeast Infection – Sarah Summer Treatment and Other Natural Remedies for Candidiasis

There are tons of natural cure for yeast infection reports on the Internet. There are herbal, holistic and daily habit remedies. You might even have heard about the Sarah Summer cure. All of these options have things in common: all-natural, simple to prepare and inexpensive. Below, we look at some of the highly favored remedies for vaginal and male yeast infection.

Natural cure for vaginal Candida infection

Women who have vaginal Candidiasis can find relief from all-natural remedies that they can easily prepare at home. One popular natural treatment is the use of garlic. It can be made into a paste or simply crushed. The paste can be applied to the vulvar area or the crushed clove can be dabbed on the sore areas or where symptoms appear. Crushed garlic can also be wrapped in cheesecloth and inserted in the vagina. Make sure to use an unflavored strand of dental floss so that the tampon-like cure can be pulled out again.

Natural remedies for male yeast infection

Penile Candidiasis is the most common form of yeast infection among men. Symptoms are usually in the form of redness and soreness in the foreskin or in the area around the head of the penis. The discomfort can be easily remedied by washing the affected areas with a mixture of water and vinegar. Tea tree oil applied on the itchy parts of the penis is also said to be an effective cure. These treatments can also be used by women with vaginal Candidiasis and natural cures used by women can also be used by male patients.

What’s good about natural remedies

Natural cures for Candidiasis are highly effective and relatively safe. They do not have artificial ingredients that can result in adverse reactions and they can be easily prepared. Furthermore, they will not cost much, and finding the ingredients will not require too much effort. Be it herbal or holistic or e-books like the Sarah Summer cure, natural treatment can do the job when it comes to yeast infection.

Simple lifestyle changes

Using natural cures should not be enough, though. Practicing proper hygiene and making adjustments on one’s daily habits should also be considered to make any treatment effective. Make sure to keep the body clean, particularly the genital areas. Avoid letting sweat just dry out on the skin. Cut down on sugary foods, beer and smoking to prevent the immune system from being compromised. Above all, eat right, sleep enough and exercise. A healthy body is still the best protection against any kind of infection.

Natural cure for yeast infection can be really effective. However, protecting one’s self from acquiring the condition by leading a healthy life is still the best way to protect yourself from Candidiasis.

yeast infection irritation
Does this sound like a yeast infection or just irritation?

I have had my period for about 3 weeks now because I started my birth control again (after a 9 month hiatus) and about 2 days ago the bleeding stopped (and spotting) and now I have a lot of irritation and itching no yeasty smell though and no real yeasty discharge (a little bit but not OBVIOUS yeast discharge).

I only used tampons in the past 3 weeks so I figured it was probably just my vagina being irritated from that.

I had unprotected sex a bunch of times with my boyfriend right when I started taking the pill, is pregnancy a possibility?

Thanks in advance for anyone who answers, and before you even say it, I will see a doctor as soon as I can I’m just looking for relevant advice!

For your questions about pregnancy, if you had a one day start pill you should be protected against pregnancy (but not 100% my sister had twins on it). If you are taking the pill for the first time, you need to wait 7 days for the pill to become effective. Remember, the pill does not protect against STIs.

The irritation and itching could be due to injury during sex, improper cleaning (not cleansing and rinsing completely), or an infection. If you want to rule out the first two, clean yourself thoroughly and see if it improves, and wait a few days to see if you begin to heal (that area of your body heals quickly). If it is a yeast infection, cranberry juice can help it not eliminate the infection, though it takes a few days. It makes your urine very acidic so that the bacteria cannot multiply, giving your body a fighting chance against the infection.

If you try these things, and there is no improvement, make sure you see a doctor. It could be a whole host of possibilities, and you can’t be too careful.

Yeast infection treatment?

I have a yeast infection for the first time in my life, and I bought that combination box from wal*mart to cure it. I read the direction, and i was wondering do I have to put the thing in at night? Also do I leave it in all the next day, or take it out in the morning? Do I shower before I put this thing in me? Remember I have never done anything like this, so I’m very unaware about how any of this works. Also, I’m not the biggest fan of yogurt and was wondering if there was something else to eat. Thank you very much

Yes, you want to put the medicine in right before your get into bed so it will not run out before getting a chance to work. You can shower before use or in the morning. You might want to wear a panty liner in case some leaks out during the night or when you stand up in the morning.

I don’t like yogurt either, but don’t know another food product that puts good bacteria back into your system.

best wishes..
